msn gaming zone.
lol that was my steam back in 98
I wouldn't be surprised if those disagrees really thought you were down talking their precious.
aren't we passed the point of screenshot teasers?
I mean bullshots have become the industry standard and all knowledgeable gamers know about this practice...
theres really no reason for Sony to see these other VR companies as a reason to stay innovative. These companies are developing for pc.
All Sony has to do is provide a working model.
Innovation will be seen on the pc side.
so now you guys are against microtransactions? 5 years after you guys kept saying
"oh just skip lunch for a day"
so my guess is you console kids finally grew up and now have to buy games with your own money.
If developers want players to fear the AI then the world has to hand out severe consequences for their actions.
up to 25% performance in some games is the most I'll give "some" games.
physics was nice and all back in 07-08
nowadays I'd just take optimized hit detection and fluid gameplay. pretty much the fundamentals that developers nowadays don't put much thought into anymore.
duo'd usually. leveled up other jobs. made millions in gil by farming as a bst. Helped linkshell members with quests. Ran Cop a few times for friends I made and LS members. did a lot of crafting.
If a game looks like it'll be worth 8gb/ram and 8 core cpu's then you'd see a massive hype train from high end pc gamers.
But watch dogs so far hasn't shown that...so from personal experience pc gamers are getting ready for a massive let down of an un-optimized game. (see gta4)
I'd highly disagree about endgame.
I played FFXI for about 3 years and me or my LS never did endgame
In newer MMO's I wouldn't argue this as they are just made to quest to max level. But ESO so far hasn't started as an MMO that holds your hand to max level.
In my opinion the whole "game doesn't start till endgame" mentality is what's keeping MMO's stale.
I started playin this the other night. I turned off zone/yell chat and I swear this is basically a new Elder Scrolls game that plays like Skyrim. Best part is you don't see other player names above their head so for me other players just come across as animated NPC's that make cities and the world feel more alive.
I tried turning zone chat back on but I was surprised at how much immersion is lost when you see people talking about WoW, gold spam, WTS/WTB shouts.
For any MMO the demographic is not gamers that collect a library of games.
MMO's since WOW came along have been catered to people that stick to one game. Usually an mmo that they can dedicate a good few hours of their time each day.
Not to mention the 2nd most successful subscription based MMO has been available On the Playstation 2.
FFXI
good move for facebook
But seeing as I have no stock in facebook...
as a gamer I'm selling my hype I had in Occulus. It's become a "Let's wait and see"
Glad I skipped this one. I've played BF since it launched with 1942. After BF3 I already knew the direction it was headed and I'm glad I ended it there.
I would have hated to see one of my favorite fps franchises go to crap like this.
You are not the demographic they are looking for.
Move along.
Free 2 plays have no place as in MMORPG. They only turn into pay 2 wins.
Subscriptions keep things as even as it gets. people still buy gold however.
So were you trying to make a point?
or just playing armchair analyst?
I agree. there's no way an amd cpu is outperforming a core I5...an unlocked I5 at that.
I've been using a core I5 2500k for many years now overclocked @ 4.5ghz and there's been very minimal gains performance wise since then.
