MW2 had great potential. PC Gamers were still on board with COD back then.
Until they announced IWNet and no dedicated servers. Still remember how bummed I was and never bought it until I saw it on steam for $15.
Promod Cod 4 is still the best COD I've enjoyed to date.
pc gaming. price of admission may look high but once you get inside you find out the food and beer is top notch and the price comparable to your local happy hour bar and grill.
Unlike console gaming. Price of admission is cheap but $8 beers? $10 popcorns? because licenses yo.

having 8gb of the latest technologically advanced RAM or having a good GPU doesn't mean jack if the CPU is not up to par.
A console is only as good as its weakest link. The CPU is sub par and I reckon you guys will finally see it.
this game is nowhere to be found. If they wanted to sell the game instead of writing articles about how much it's been pirated they should give it some exposure. I spent a minute looking for it on google and gave up.
Who's to say the only reason it sold was due to some of those pirates buying it.
Guild Wars 2, Rift, Star Wars, they are all WOW clones to begin with.
It plays like Skyrim. which was its own game with the combat system somewhat lacking.
FFXI was successful, FF14 will be sub only and server traffic is through the roof. FF14 looks to be SE's first major success with gamers in years.
I'm gonna agree. I've never seen a f2p or b2p offer long term content. These developers have only one thing on their mind and that is to get players to use the cash shop. In other words its more like a short term model.
With sub based games. Developers focus solely on adding content to keep their subscribers happy. It's a long term model.
You do realize that Developers have been saying that next-gen won't be as impressive as PS2/Xbox to PS3/360 for awhile now right?
Next-gen should have been about making 60fps 1080p w/ high res textures the standard. Not a huge jump but it's coming out that "next-gen" consoles won't even be able to handle that.
