It's always been Steam that's been pushing indie game development.
VR development no. PS4 hardware however, has been dissected thoroughly. It's already common knowledge that a ps4 performs similar to a mid range pc. It's the ps4 itself that will hold back morpheus.

this is extremely good for us as gamers and I'm sickened to see how far people would go because M$ isn't Sony.
Devs no longer frequent Gaf. They no longer are considered reputable to be invited to E3.

Other OS and Backwards Compatibility were two HUGE features for PS3 at launch.
Thus they are comparable. as they were both removed.
