PC won hands down. That, of course, is not a surprise. Still love my exclusives on PS3 and 360 though.
In other words, it is good to see Sony becoming such a competitor. Competition will push both Msoft and Sony to their absolute best, benefiting the consumer.
Game on.
but nobody else is going to be interested in this.
I mean...really?
1) Xbox Live - Innovative, intuitive, and visually appealing it is the best console-based online community hands down. (Yes, I DO OWN AND LOVE A PS3. Kratos rules!)
2) Windows 7 - As someone that uses multiple Operating Systems regularly (just got a brand new MacBook Pro, computers at work run vista, GF's computer is XP, I'm familiar with Linux), Windows 7 on my new gaming rig has been the most intuitive I've tried in years. I love the preview of everything I run my mouse over (...
And I am by no means against Gamespot, I just simply prefer IGN's presentation style and video playback. Additionally, I tend to agree with much of their gaming perception.
and I enjoy both. Modern Warfare's multiplayer is more of a "twitch" style play where Bad Company 2 is more of a team based operation.
They are great games in their respective differences.
1200 MS points, Activision? Really? I mean, it's a great game, but must they price gouge the gaming world so terribly?
Around the 3:57 mark the vid goes through a room that looks just like an environment from the first level of Killzone 2. Is that from one of the old maps?
Revenue was up as well over 2008. That 13 Billion dollar industry was dominated digitally. See the link.

Are you sure the PSP go is "proof" that digital distribution is not the future? Or perhaps it is simply an aging platform that is on a downhill trend now, regardless of new distribution channels.
There are MILLIONS of...
And with Competition coming from the Mobile Phone Market (my iPhone 3GS is a prime example) they need to step up their game. Honestly, I was surprised they made the go...and especially launched at such a high price point. Where was the market research?
For now I'm just gonna stay on my PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and PC and forgo any new handheld.
And a high-end gaming PC and iPhone 3GS. I'm seriously spoiled.
site I've never heard of!
In fact, I can like BOTH games and compare them all I want!
This "stimulus" map pack is over-priced. Don't get me wrong, I've had a great time playing MW2, but I'm certainly going to enjoying BBC2's map-pack LONG before this one.
Can't wait to lay some serious smack down!!
Honestly, I would love to see a full length, HD entry for this classic series. I mean, except for Gran Tourismo - hopefully coming this fall - and Twisted Metal, basically every other major series has now made a full appearance this Gen.
Come on Castlevania!
If it is appearing on PC that is the platform I will buy the game for.
Respawning enemies is one of the fastest ways to ruin immersion.
I mostly love Valve for what they do for PC gaming. Steam - the FREE, PC equivalent of Xbox Live, but with more full games - has been fantastic for the platform. Yes, I have a 360 as well.
And yet hard copies still make up roughly 50 % of my PC gaming Purchases. I bought a copy of Battlefield Bad Company 2 from Best Buy.
Freakin' awesome! That's the type of advertising that gets attention.
Thrilled for GofWIII!
I hope we see many more similar stories.
