It's pointless to make any comparisons yet.

Time will tell, I'm positive both will be looking and playing great.

I can only speak for New Zealand on this one.

The PS3 is still considered a pretty expensive little purchase down here.

exchange rates play a factor of course, but A PS3 in NZ will set you back about $780 NZ.

That's a pretty big number to get your head around.

360's cost about $300 NZ for the arcade and $599 for the elite.

Looking forward to this game.

I played Batman Begins on the Xbox and found it pretty good, It had the gliding and fear / imtimidation gameplay, also had a rather basic stealth element.

It looks like AA perfects those things and adds even more.

Looks good.

I think that may be nostalgia talking.

6020d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes I agree with you on that.

I don't think it would hurt MS to look at how the other console makers do things as far as hardware goes.

They are still the new kids on the block as far as consoles go, they still have lots to learn.

I don't know if the Halo franchise is being milked exactly.

every Halo title that has been released has been of the highest quality.

MS know how to handle the franchise, and with others like Gears and Fable doing some more of the heavy lifting I think they will stop relying on Halo quit as much as they have been.

No I haven't played End-War.

was that the 1st RTS to use it?
Someone has to blaze a trail, I think things like voice recognition will improve as time goes.

6020d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I think a Halo wars 2 is inevitable, MS may even be thinking of using Natal for the control interface.

gesture controls + voice recognition would be great for a RTS.

Of course that game would have nothing to do with Bungie.

I don't know if even they know what they will do after Halo.

Like the article says Obsidian's development history is spotty at best.

KOTOR2 was a bit of a shambles in my opinion, buggy as hell.

Alpha Protocol seems to be a poor mans Mass Effect.

Just going off what I've seen and read.

I think the position of the HDD will be the least of MS's worries.

As for your question its a piece of piss.

6021d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

So it can be a $150 system.

6021d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

I agree 100% Fishy.

whatever MS are cooking up they certainly know how to keep a lid on things.

It seems the Sony boys and girls have allot to chew over with the slim and price cut, and that fantastic for them, But after Gamescon the 360 camp have been left twiddling our thumbs a bit.

6021d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment

All these rumors floating around and still no word yet from MS.

Price cuts? we know they are coming but don't know how much.

Natal? still no word on a possible release date or game line up.

360 slim / Valhalla? nothing but wild speculation.

As an Xbox fan it's a little annoying not to have anything but this sort of stuff to comment on.

6021d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

I don't think MS is gonna let Mass Effect slip away easily.

The original deal was made with Bioware are we positive is a timed exclusive?

If so I'm positive they will try to hammer out another deal with EA.

6021d ago 5 agree0 disagreeView comment

I think you'll be waiting a while.

6021d ago 9 agree5 disagreeView comment

I would buy Pub Fighter in a heartbeat.

Natal isn't gonna work for all genres, But I think it could certainly redefine and even create some others.

One of the comments in the article mentions a star ship commander sim like Star Trek where you talk to your crew and ship's computer using Natal. It's that kind of thinking that needs to happen for this to work.

6021d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Wow.

so much negative reaction to a simple article why so much hate for the 360?
It's got it's problems I will concede that, but if MS were to redesign the 360 to look and run better and cheaper that got to be a good thing doesn't it?

I mean are you guys so one eyed that "if" a cooler more reliable 360 was to hit the market with built in Wi-Fi bundled with Natal and a HDD you would STILL turn your noses at it?

If thats the case then sorry...

6021d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Such a shame that an article about an upcoming 360/PC game has to be overrun with fanboys of a platform thats NOT getting said game.

Anyway, I loved ME1 and I'm glad that Bioware are working hard to make ME2 even better.

I just can not wait for this game, I can't wait to see how my choices from the first impact on the second and third games.

I want to find a cure for The genophage.
And forge an alliance with The rachni.

6022d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

And that year of further development time for Natal will be crutual for the success or failure of it.

It really needs that precise 1:1 tracking right out of the box for any chance at becoming what it's claiming to be.

I wish MS the best of luck with Natal and will be supporting it fully.

Can't wait.

This is exactly the type of 3rd party game that can take full advantage of a Natal interface.

With the ability to still use a controller if wanted of course.
