Some strong titles in that list.

Tropico 3 certainly has my attention as one to watch.

Mass Effect 2 is a must buy for me also.

Didn't know anything about Prey 2 however.

Will be a good year for the 360 software wise, I wonder what other games they have to announce yet.

The Revan reveal in KOTOR was massive. It was (for me anyway) as big as " Luke I am your father".

Just thinking about it makes me want a true KOTOR 3.

There were a few little surprises in Jade Empire that were better than the one mentioned in this article.

The true origins of Master Lee being the main one of course.

It's interesting that you say that cmrbe.

I think the Xbox platform is really Xbox live.

The machine you play it on is just a means to and end.

What if Microsoft started selling the consoles for next to nothing and raised the subscription for Xbox Live?

Might be a dumb idea. what do you think?

I don't know why you think Rare are a laughingstock.

I suspect it's only because they are currently part of Microsoft's first party.

As I have stated above Rare have been releasing solid games all this gen. Gamers like yourself just don't want to support them for some reason.

I don't like to post list of games with Metacritic scores so I won't, but after taking a look I can tell you that the lowest score for a game that Rare have released this gen was 79...

Rare have produced some high quality games this gen.

But for some reason they are not getting the support from the "hardcore" community.

I don't know if its the art style being to cutesy or weather the content is not mature enough but games like Nuts and Bolts and Viva Pinata have been very well received critically.

Rare have been doing a good job at trying to diversify the 360's library, but gamers don't seem to want it.

Not too upset about Kameo2 as I never played the first.

However the statement.

"The company is reviewing the current composition of its development teams and there is the possibility that a small number of current positions could be lost as a result of these changes,"

Has me a bit worried. What are Microsoft doing with their already small group of first party developers?

One good thing about the PS wand is that it will probably get HD ports of successful Wii games as the controls seem very similar.

This should help the wand, as it will be a familiar control interface for Wii owners looking to upgrade.

A positive for Natal is that developers have to make a game with the device in mind. So the 360 could have some more exclusive games.

However I think that could work against Natal as well. If developers can't get thei...

I guess you could argue that adds to the immersion of the game.

I mean if your grab a rifle and start running around you would get pretty knackered.

I'm just having a bit of fun with that comment, I understand exactly what you mean.

As I've mentioned in another post some time ago.
I want to see some destructible/interactive environments.

Imagine kicking speakers over and smashing your guitar on stage.

Your absolutely right about the original Xbox I still have mine and I think it still a monster.

But on topic.

I hate to admit it but I can't help but find myself somewhat agreeing with this article. Microsoft have tried some different things this gen some good some bad, but I do think that we Xbox fans should be letting Microsoft know what is and is not acceptable to us as consumers.

If every xbox live customer suddenly canceled their subscriptions what ...

Congratulations to Sony on the continued success of the PS2.

Nine years and counting is an incredible life span for a games console.
Sony have developed a fantastic strategy that the other platform providers should really be looking to emulate.

Keep up the good work Sony.

I find that the used games market is a life saver for the gamer on a budget like myself.

I'm lucky to buy two or three games a year so I'm very picky about what I get. The advantage of buying games later is after all the hype dies down you can decide if the game is really worth picking up or not.

That said, the only game I intend on buying brand new next year will be Mass Effect 2.

Having one system does not make you a loser.

Some people just don't have the time to play everything on every console.

I only own an Xbox 360 and I'm very particular about what games I buy as I have other costs in my life that have priority over my pastime.

My morgage, My child's food and clothes, I'm also renovating my house witch is not cheap.

Food and fuel cost's are sky rocketing also.

So you see in the real world luxury ite...

KOTOR3 360 exclusive would be awesome.

It would be great to get updated versions of KOTOR and The Sith Lords via games on demand before it comes out as well.

could you imagine the first two games with updated graphics and maybe some extra content. (for The Sith Lords mostly).

Microsoft need make this happen now.

Quick somebody start a petition.

Microsoft still has some moves that they can make to drum up some demand I think.

I'm pretty sure they still have room for a price cut, as we all know they only put the Elite at the price of the 60gig model. So that was more of a upgraded Pro.

What I'm trying to say is that they probably could still cut the price of the Arcade. If it was somewhere around the same price as a PS2 that might make it more like an impulse purchase.

The price of Xbox Live is a...

I know I'm going to get my ass kicked for even mentioning this but...

Do we know what the chances are of Reach using Natal?

If Bungie and Microsoft can somehow pull that off and more importantly make it work well?

Then I guess they could have a system seller on their hands.

Now I'm just throwing this up for discussion so no need to get all happy on the disagree button folks.

I will be keeping a close eye on the development of Halo Reach.

Microsoft will heavily advertise this game so we all know it will sell like hotcakes.

Bungie have been fantastic in the development of this franchise so far with ODST arguably the only less than stellar Halo title from them.

So what can we look forward to from Reach?

The new graphics engine will probably be the main point of focus for many, how this game looks will be the most i...

I'm a big fan of the Xbox platform.

But this article seems more than a little unnecessary, and to be quite honest is biased.

I'm all for some good news about the 360, but this is just a bit fanboyish.

Your going to rule Albion in Fable 3, so I can see Natal playing a part in the strategy and diplomacy of being king.

I can't see the exploration or combat using Natal really.

I guess it could be like two games, a third person RPG adventure game using a standard controller, and also a strategic problem solving one using Natal.

Might work.
