I think we can assume that the music, controls and multiplayer for this game will as always be phenomenal.
The only questions that remain are will it stack up graphic wise? and how long is the SP campaign?
Done right this could be a late in the game system seller for the 360.
To early to tell yet of course.
By the way. Do we know if this game is going to use Natal yet?
I wonder what that BFG was in the last picture?
some sort of mini nuke?
The perks sound fun also, the hologram especially.
Mmmmmm tactical.
I want a needler rifle.
These pictures look good can't wait for some official ones.
I like the look of these.
That needler rifle looks bada$$!
Hard to tell how it's performing in the graphics department.
Need better quality pictures.
Halo Reach screens have been leaked!!!
I get where your coming from now thanks.
Yes I think that will be a bit of an issue.
I guess we will just have to see what comes of it.
If I point or gesture to a certain area on screen, can Natal track and accurately highlight that area?
For example if I were playing Republic Commando with Natal and I wanted Sev to take up a sniper position in a certain spot. Could I just point to the spot with my hand and bark out orders to my troops without having to put my crosshairs on the position.
I'm not talking about a cursor that tracks my hand, but more like point and click kind of thing you know?
I don't mean to be ignorant but I'm not sure I fully understand what your getting at.
Care to expand what your saying?
You can't imagine yourself playing this game?
We don't even know what it is yet!
It could be Natal's killer app for all we know.
Looking like a dumba** or not. if it's fun people won't care.
Developers seem really positive so far.
Natal might be able to please both the hardcore and casual gamer.
early days yet.
where did it say about a new Halo in 2011.
From what I could see the article was just listing the job vacancies for the new project.
Didn't see a release date.
OK.
For Natal so far we have Fable 3, whatever this is, plus whatever Rare is working on.
More details needed, but things are starting to get moving for Natal.
I'm sure there will be games that only use Natal or a controller.
And there will more than likely be games that use a combination of the two. Like using a controller for a FPS and using the voice recognition in Natal to interact with NPC's or something like that.
As long as the games are good I don't think it matters too much.
I don't own a PS3 so I had no idea how they make an income from a free service without any kind of user fees.
sounds like a pretty good way to do it to me.
Thanks again.
I understand why Sony don't want to change for PSN.
As a free service it gives them both the advantage of a sales point and it makes XBL look bad buy comparison.
I just wonder how long Sony can keep on absorbing the costs involved with running it.
I think at some point in the future they will have to start charging for it.
Just to get off topic for a moment I wonder how long Sony can keep the PSN free?
They must be looking at the profits XBL is making for Microsoft and be thinking long and hard about it. I mean it must have some kind of running costs.
Can anyone here tell me if Sony make anything on PSN or are they absorbing the costs at the moment?
I think it's just a matter of time before they have to start charging for it, the more they improve the service the more it m...
My guess would be that the 360 is dirt cheap for Microsoft to produce at the moment.
I would not be surprised to see further price cuts for the 360 as Microsoft will probably be making steps towards the Xbox 3 over the next couple of years.
In short the 360 becomes a low end console like the PS2 and the Xbox 3 is released along side it.
Just a guess.
I'm kind of in the same boat as you ceedubya.
I want to upgrade to the 120gig Elite sometime over the holidays, but I'm unsure if Microsoft are going to give the 360 some kind of overhaul in the near future.
Also waiting to see if theres going to be a Mass Effect 2 bundle.
God I wish Microsoft would dump a truckload of cash at Lucasart's doorstep for a HD remake of the KOTOR games and then a proper third installment.
Dreams are free I suppose.
sigh.
Oh and Republic Commando 2 if theres any left over.
