Natal does not have to be revolutionary.
It just has to be fun.
And why would a PS developer have anything positive to say about Natal? it's like Microsoft not having anything positive to say about the Ipad or Blueray.
Insomniac have nailed there flag to Sony's mast since last gen, they are always going to tow the line for them.
Edit : do Insomniac have a dev kit for Natal? Are they really in position to say if it will be successful or not? ...
I want them to develop "Queen Rockband"
FLASH!.....AHAAAAA KING OF THE IMPOSSIBLE!
About a week ago my wife played the guitar hero 3 demo that was on my new 360 elite HDD. I was just mucking around with it before I deleted it off.
All it took was 1 go at "Hit me with your best shot" and she was hooked.
She went online and immediately got a used copy of GH3 and a couple of guitars controllers.
I have not problem playing GH with her. (unlike her short lived love affair with Singstar.)
A Gears3 announcement at X10 would be fantastic.
Halo Reach, Fable3 and Gears of War 3 in the same year?
That would be something to see.
As someone above me has said it only takes one great game to rustle up some hardware sales.
Nice to hear that Microsoft are having another crack at the Japanese market. It might work to their advantage, if they can raise the profile of the 360 in Japan with some exclusive software and then follow up with a successful Natal launch.
Lets see what happens.
Definitive.
Thats just what I wanted to hear.
I would love to see how it's going to work with Natal.
Fair call.
Not every game can be a blockbuster but I think it's fair to say that not one of the games you have mentioned will be bad either.
But the same thing can be said for all three console's 2010 line up, they are not all going to be winners.
Microsoft have got me pretty exited at the moment.
We all know about Natal, ME2, Reach, AW, blah blah blah.
But what about this Capcam thing? this new JRPG MMO from those N3 guys?
What's the big news from Cliffy B and Epic?
And we are not even close to E3 yet.
I would not be surprised to see Natal take a big part of this event.
Hopefully they can put to rest some of the lingering issues some still have about it.
Isn't Lionhead working on something else alongside Fable 3?
Some new Xbox Live features would be good.
I'm looking forward to this.
Pretty cool to have an Xbox 360 expo.
As other here have mentioned Fable 3 footage would be great.
Some new details on Natal and Reach would be great also.
I wonder what Rare have been up to?
Gears 3 would be kick ass.
But I have a feeling it will be something else.
Maybe something Shadow Complex related?
I'm wondering the same thing drummer.
The 360 itself does the heavy lifting for Natal.
If thats the case how can a game like Reach look as good as this and still take care of all the work involved with Natal?
The game must be taking a performance hit somewhere else.
If it's Natal-enabled at all.
Max Power.
He's the man whose name you'd love to touch!... But you mustn't touch! His name sounds good in your ear, but when you say it, you mustn't fear! 'Cause his name can be said by anyone!
On topic : I think Mass Effect is going to blow up huge as an IP. on the same level as Halo or Star Wars.
I was thinking the same thing.
The Shep is clearly channeling Kirk.
I'm guessing some kind of exclusive SF4 tournament via Xbox live sponsored by Capcom and Microsoft.
I don't own a PS3 so I cannot comment on the Wand/Gem/Arc.
But as for Natal I will be getting one.
I see Rare are doing a fitness game. I can tell my wife is going to want that.
simple casual games or mini games? my young kid will probably be able to play those with mum in a couple of years, so I can see us getting a few of those as well.
And I will pick and choose any hardcore game that interests me. so a few more games to add to the pile. ...
Just find the best deal going at the moment and get it.
You can guarantee that no matter when you get one a bigger better deal will be available a week later. That always happens to me anyway.
On topic: That seems like a good length to me considering the replay value with different save files and DLC.
I got Crackdown solely on what I had played in the ten minute demo.
Fantastic game, lots of fun.
I think we will see a 360 price cut in 2010.
But it's not going to happen because of anything Sony's doing.
I think they will simply make a small price cut with the release of Natal, just to help things along.
Nothing major.
