I have 10 MBS so if it works well with that then good. If not...meh.
Patenting 'look and feel' or vague ideas instead of specific methods IS an abuse of the patent system. 'No buttons' is not really a defensible competitive advantage that took a lot of R&D to accomplish and so deserves protection. It's very easy to duplicate and uses off the shelf tech.
Shift is supposed to be in lots of Gearbox games like the upcoming Aliens: Colonial Marines and probably their 4 person coop game that used to be a Brothers in Arms title. That's probably the "more than golden keys".
There will be one more golden key shift code give away at 3:00PM central today (Saturday Oct. 27), so check the two Gearbox twitter accounts,
https://twitter.com/Gearbox...
https://twitter.com/DuvalMa...
and facebook page then.

RALPHIE?!! WHAT ARE DOING IN THERE?!! RANDY HAS TO GO RIGHT NOW! OPEN THE DOOR!
I used to have a PS3. The exclusives didn't stop me from selling it. Cheap. Because it wasn't worth much or much in demand with console gamers.
"Just look at Little Big Planet for example, a small UK team who locked their heads together and made one of the greatest and most polished platformers seen for years, they weren't on millions of dollars or anything like it and they pulled that out the bag. "
Little Big Planet is nowhere near as big, well loved, or as important as Halo and really didn't amount to all that much. And "most polished"? WTF? It was floaty, got boring pretty fast, and go...
Since it is no longer 1978, this is a dumb #@#$ing argument. Live in the present moron.
The confidence of self proclaimed "hardcore" PS3 owners has been shown to be rather worthless.
Why would I buy one mediocre Sony exclusive again much less several of them? Sony's drek is dull stuff you buy at B1G1F sales and in the used clearance bins during the spring dry spell.
And still no one anywhere is any more excited about Killzone 2 or 3 than they were before reading this stupid junk article.
Pointless un-content.
I no longer trust Konami to do HD ports after Silent Hill. Even the MGS collection wasn't that great.
R&D is "research and development" meaning spending money to develop new technology to be used in future consumer oriented products and services (like a new console possibly next year) not "Red Ring of Death".
So your 'ignorant comment' comment was kind of ignorant.
Not that you ever actually hear Killzone 2 graphically praised much outside of a few sad PS3 freaks. Oh well.
So it's like Incognito is dying TWICE. Great. First Psygnosis (Sony Liverpool) goes and now this.
$15 a month to rent some mostly rinky-dink games that are rather slow to come out, that usually turn up cheap in steam sales or humble bundles, and get a few older games with a discount is a rather worthless premium. Certainly NOT worth $15 a month.
Paying $35 a year(the price I actually pay for live) for a good online contact gaming network with a lot of people on it is a little bit annoying but not really onerous. I prefer the second option.
1.) It's too expensive
2.) Support was wishy washy at best
3.) Poor battery life
4.) Nobody much wanted it or its features
5.) DS won. 3DS got the DS people to upgrade.
6.) iPhone and Android divided up most of the rest of the potential customers.
I got rid of my PS3. The exclusives were usually overhyped and turned out to be pretty forgettable and mediocre. Uncharted was good though. The rest...meh. I got tired of God of War by the 3rd one.
Multi-plats were the big thing this gen. It's probably why exclusives have been dwindling except for a few titles. They just don't compete well with the big AAA multiplats.
I give Blisteredthumbs.net a 2/10. I didn't actually go there, and I'm not going to, but I just want some hits, so I'm being controversial.
Seriously, what a shitty review. And site.
