I might just have to dust off the PS3 after 5 days of inactivity... Warhawk is good, but I have to say it "AIN'T ALL THAT". I own a 360 and PS3 and have to say that this game reminds me alot of Battlefield on the 360, only better and worse... Can somebody please tell the Blockbuster stores in Camarillo CA that they are supposed to have Blu-Ray movies to rent. Both stores I went to didnt have a clue about WTF Blu-Ray was, or when they might get it :(
Sony hyped Lair as a "AAA" exclusive title. The "EXPERTS" in this industry disagreed to the tune of some very low scores. I am going to rent this game first before buying. The wife wanted a Blu-Ray player to go with our new 1080P LCD HDTV. So I suggested a PS3 rather than the Sony standalone Blu-Ray player for $499.00 She got what she wanted, I got a 2nd next generation videogame console to go next to my 360. The PS3 is too expensive. Even at $500.00 it wasnt enough to outsell the 360 in the US market. Europe is still up for grabs between the 360 and PS3. Sales are pretty even.
Those people who bring up Japan need to realize 2 things.

Make me laugh. You do know that 2k Sports Football game this year was built for the ground up for the PS3 and it still runs at 30fps just like EA's Madden does. Last time I checked it was easier to do both Graphics and AI in a basketball game than a football game.

You can always get the movies on DVD and wait out the format war. Thats my plan. May not be as nice as a high def movie, but it will still look great. You may think this is funny but I use my wireless controller on my 360 to play DVD movies right now. Unless you own both. I own both consoles. Resistance may be a killer app on the PS3 but it would get no love on the 360. Call it like it is, take off you fanboy goggles for 1 sec please. Warhawk is a good game when I can get into a game and I'm not getting random disconnects and losing all my stats... But then again I really liked Battlefield on the 360.
