More like competitive. Sony dropped the price of its current SKU's and is introducing a cheaper 40GB SKU to be competitive. Why??? Is a fun game indeed. But I dont thing it has mass appeal. My children couldnt get into it, it wasnt easy for them to figure out, but then again they are all 7 years old or younger. It seemed more like an adult game rather than a kids game or a family game. The kids got bored watching me play it... Another Xbox 360 exclusive game is getting great reviews and actually living up to the hype. Sarcasm aside I expected nothing less. Bioware makes great games. As anybody who owned the first Xbox can attest to with the Knights Of The Old Republic games.

It may sell lots of copies to existing PS3 owners, but it isnt a console seller. To me LBP is relativey unknown to the masses. Only the hardcore Sony PS3 fans know about this game. Remember just recently Lair, Heavenly Sword, and Warhawk havent sold alot of PS3's. Relax everyone. The 40GB $400.00 PS3 will definetly sell better because it is cheaper, plus we are nearing the holiday season. But it wont destroy the Wii or 360. Sorry to burst anyones bubble. I am looking forward to the announcement of when "exactly" the 40GB Sony PS3 sku will be launched in the US and at "exactly" what price point. When I owned my 60GB PS3 I never used the backwards compatability or card media ports. Plus I only used 2 of the USB ports anyways. 1 for the controller charger, and the other one for my Jabra Blue-tooth headset charger I got when I purchased Warhawk.
