$400.00 for a Blu-Ray player that also plays HD videogames is a good price. I already have the 60GB PS3, but I am sure that price point will get others to "Wait Beyond" this holiday season. My boys want Spiderman 3 so I guess I will be getting it on Blu-Ray.
That is exactly why Toshiba allegedly paid for Paramount and Dreamworks to be exclusive to HD-DVD. Sony owns quite a few movie studios like Columbia Pictures and MGM. So guess what Sony's movie studios exclusively support Blu-Ray as a result. See a patern here yet??? Sony wants Blu-Ray to succeed. They use thier movie studios and videogame consoles as leverage. Kind of like how Microsoft used Windows to get things like Internet Explorer and Media Player established.

But what people fail to realize is that even thought the PS3 kills 360 in Japan. The 360 makes up for it by marginally outselling in in places like Europe and Australia, and regulary beating it in US sales by a significant margin.
