Console war is over bro

Lol what?

You're not making the point you think you're making...

Most would agree the PS1 was a pivotal point in gaming history. Has nothing to do with Bobby stroking egos lol.

If you disagree, feel free share what you think changed gaming the most.

If they want their console sales to fall off a cliff like Microsoft then sure do the same as them.

Sounds like a very stingy CEO, no wonder developers have been laid off despite success.

Come on, people have definitely called the haptics on the dualsense a gimmick.

@Redemption-64

I agree in general with what you are saying. But in this case what Yoshida is saying here isn't exactly going against what people were saying, it just looks that way because people are reacting to the title instead of what was actually said. But yes, people flip flop when it's convenient for them.

"nailing a GAAS game is the ultímate form of job stability in this market"

Marvel Rivals team had layoffs.

"Everything else he said is infallible tho, if it goes with the narrative ofc. Some of you guys have no backbone or integrity."

If you read what he says, he's just saying that a gun wasn't held to their heads and are most likely going with the company initiative because there's a higher chance o...

Yoshida explained, “From my experience, when studios see the company has a big initiative, they understand riding on that gives them a better chance of getting a project approved and supported.” ***

^^^ That's pretty much what people are saying though. It's not being "forced" to do so, but same effect. Like how unlimited PTO leads to workers taking less time off even though they aren't being "forced" to do so.

If you read the quote he is actually following in line with the "narrative" as you put it.

The word "Forced" in this case is just semantics.

Corporate greed at work.

Both are have their hand in it. Putting those guys in position of power is the mistake/fuckup. Herman definitely supports multiplayer/live service as well. I've mentioned in the past that he chased popularity with KZ's multiplayer. Jim obviously has more sway/power given that he forced Shuhei out and butted heads with Layden.

333d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Wow, this news confirms what many suspected, which is that Jim Ryan is the one messing shit up. Live Service was without a doubt his doing. Layden also left because of Ryan. Glad that Ryan has been forced out, oops I mean... retired before making it worse.

Looking at your comment history, the one that keeps fighting the good fight with a bruised ego looks to be you 😂.

Don't see what's wrong with THIS game in particular. There are definitely better examples of curation problems and when an article about those come up, you are then welcome to continue your losing console war about the SDF rant, hurrah 😆

Not trying to bring them all over to their platform, will cause them to lose some that are currently already over on their platform. We'll see next gen if it's truly a win win.

Yeah they are trying to make money off of it, but I don't see your point?

Again, literally 2 weeks ago what you are saying now about games releasing day and date on PS5 is what people were saying about 4+ year old Forza, Gears and Halo... " I'll believe it when I see it" so obviously these games being ported over no matter how old is significant.

If you refuse to see the trend, I guess I shouldn't be surprised since you were also the...

Exactly. I came to post exactly this. The game was torn apart upon release. It's not shocking that a sequel was denied.

Meh whatever. You're the same guy thought Game Science was lying when any ounce of effort into reading beyond what was purposefully fed would have led you to the likely right conclusion. I don't really understand why things need to be spelled out. You're acting like a couple of weeks ago people weren't on here saying this will never happen. Now all of a sudden this some obvious move to squeeze money out of older titles and not a step into bringing all their games over to all p...
