"I understand older gamers being in denile because the past metric was exclusives and console sales. Gaming has changed. We can grow with it or get left behind."

Says who Microsoft? You think Sony and Nintendo don't care about their console sales? Why gaming always have to shift to Microsoft's wants and needs?

Your alt account was happy when it was announced 😂. Very hypocritical of you to happily port beg for a game you bashed with your alt account. You must have been really hungry huh 😧?

"I couldn't care less what others play. I hope it sells like crazy if it goes to ps5. It's going to benefit microsoft the most.
I say, get that money Phil."

If that's what you truly think then why not say that in the first place instead of this 🤔:

"Keep hope alive Playstation fans."

You bashed death standing and was happy when it came to Xbox right? Guess you must have been starving.

@Software_Lover

Sounds like a death stranding situation to me. The answer to your question, I'm sure, is same as the one for DS which I hoped you asked when that situation happened, right?

Xbox fans wanted the deal to do through because they believed that the games would be exclusive. Only CoD and maybe a few other big titles like Diablo and such had high potential to remain multiplatform, but make no mistake at the time most Xbox fans believed the games would be exclusive akin to Bethesda purchase at that point in time (with the exception of games with deals already in place).

357d ago 4 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yeah it was obvious that Microsoft was slowly but surely going the full multiplat route. "It's just 4 games" "It's just Activision and Bethesda games, Microsoft Studio games will remain exclusive" I've told people repeatedly that they weren't going to open the floodgates because of the immediate backlash from their fans. Now that people are getting used it, you see the reaction- "pro consumer" "everybody gets to enjoy their games, Sony should...

I see why they're trying to end this gen early.

Yeah, he made a lot of poor decisions for KZ3. KZ2 being good doesn't change that... how dumb of a take indeed... If you were following the release of KZ3 you'd see that he emphasized making the game more "accessible" and changes such as lowering the amount of variables for calculating bullet damage. You can blame the popularity of CoD for making Killzone go away from what made it great or you can blame the people up top for chasing trends/popularity... kinda like what he...

I personally never liked Herman Hulst from the jump. He's the reason Killzone declined after KZ2. So when he was moving up in PlayStation Studios I had my reservations.

Lexreborn2, you 100% correct.

There's a lot of closet bigots on n4g don't you worry.

It has never been about the best person for the job and never will be. The saying "it's not what you know, it's who you know" rings true and we all know this, but people harp on DEI for OBVIOUS reasons. DEI at least curbs this a little bit, but funny thing is people of color/marginalized groups don't even benefit the most from DEI like people...

Don't get why people are still acting surprised at this point. They've always hinted at this. They are just doing it slowly to ease people in(it's only Activision titles. It's only some Bethesda titles) instead of all at once because the backlash that come from opening the floodgates may counter act any positive of releasing all their games on every platform all at once.

371d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

The issue is, if they release at the same time people have the impression that you can get the PlayStation and will still be able to play Xbox games eventually on there. Releasing early gives them a better chance I think. Worrying about being the most powerful isn't enough. They've already tried being the most powerful and cheapest and still hasn't worked out.

Also just want to point out that the actual content of the article has nothing to do with any "console war". It's why I said "lol at the headline" below because they are just trying to get clicks. It's about MS future in gaming space being good as long as they continue to embrace other platforms rather than trying to compete against them so that lack of console sales won't be their doom.

"Y'all said say lots, and lots of things that were wrong and never admit."

The only thing that I can recall being wrong about and I guess not admitting to it is Microsoft keeping Activision games exclusive post acquisition. I didn't foresee MS waving the white flag. Other than that I don't make claims with little information, so I don't have to do a lot of apologizing unlike you ;)

1) How about MS history of misleading statements? I would say Sony's history of 3rd party deals and Microsoft's history of misleading statements are the same no?

2) Microsoft's statement never actually accused Sony of anything. They never mentioned Sony by name. They left it vague on purpose to get people like you to defend them. If they knew...

Yes Sony has a history of 3rd party deals. Nobody is denying this. But that alone is not enough for you to claim guilt. If you think it is then you're just not someone who's able to engage in, as RauLeCreuset puts it, critical thinking be...
