If I were a DMC fan I definitely would not buy this reboot after this statement.
Obviously you shouldn't make a game 100% for the fans, but what they are currently doing is making a game *"PURELY"* for a different demographic which you shouldn't do either.
I really wonder how NT and Capcom will feel if DMC bombs in sales after making bold statement after bold statement.
This list is suppose to be funny right? And not taken seriously?
I just want to make sure because I don't know anyone that when they hear "spawn point" their first thought is a pond...
Edit: Ok it is a joke. I just had to finish the entire slides lol.
How many ME3 owners will like the real ending?
"And ironically, when all's said and done, the battle system is not that far removed from previous entries."
Exactly. Apart from the auto nature of the battle system it was pretty much like the old FF games, but happening in real time.
That is what I think the future FF titles should be like. Turn-Based, but happening in real time.
Yeah, I tend to find IGN's scores usually matches the score I would give the game. Though I don't use them as my only source of reviews because they can sometimes screw it up.
As for who should you trust? You should never blindly trust either one. User scores tend to reflect what the fans of the series think of the game while critic scores are more objective.
I personally never use user scores when deciding on a purchase.
I enjoyed 12, though it is a step back from the previous titles. It's better than 13 and 13-2 IMO.
I'm failing to see how the author was "pushing an agenda." Too me it appears clear that the reviewer saw the game for what it is and apparently thought it was "awful" hence the 3/10.
I have no problem with you "attacking" IGN. I just feel as if had the score been a 7/10 you wouldn't even be commenting right now.
And don't tell me that the score isn't your issue when you think a 3/10 is an "overraction" a...

IT!? http://n4g.com/user/home/co...
It made a new account! :O
Are you saying you agree with this statement?:
***"You Have No Right to Complain"***
You appear to not be understanding...
The people that are complaining are fans of the series. This is SUPPOSE to be a game that they LOVE. They are upset that this new iteration doesn't stick to the franchises roots. Is it wrong for them to be upset?
You obviously are either new to the series, aren't even a fan, or aren'...
Just because it's made for the PS3 only doesn't mean squat. Of course it's made for the PS3 only. What purpose would it serve to make it for the 360? It's not like Sony will allow their engine on the rival platform, hell Microsoft themselves probably wouldn't even allow it.
Point is you don't know what the engines for UC and KZ can do. Who knows what other developers can do with those engines when given the chance. You saying it is not as versatile is ...
***"I don't mean any disrespect but why can't people play video games and be satisfied with the way the developers made them."***
It just happens to be a coincidence that NG3 and ME3 happen to have FANS that are upset. Notice how those games are in their third iteration of the series and not NEW IPs.
Franchises that have a HUGE fanbase will experience backlash when one of the games within the franchise taints the series. The fans hope that v...
Bioware shouldn't change it. There's a possibility that people won't like the new one either. At least we know that Bioware got the message though.
I have to admit that I am guilty of that.
You are right. If I want to play console quality games on handhelds then I have to pay console quality price. Though I think consoles games should cost $40-$45 at most IMO.
Obvious troll for hits review is obvious. That or the reviewer is a hipster.
Just like to point out that 13-2 deserves that score.
***"but they're very limited in terms of their versatility"***
How did you come to that conclusion?
Exactly. Most games nowadays get 7s and 8s and thus people think that's the average, me included. If a game that I'm really anticipating gets a low score I read multiple reviews and look at what the cons are and see if I'll be able to tolerate it.
The article says that the question is inconclusive because of the 60 metacritc average, but you should honestly already have your answer to that question if you do want I just mentioned above instead of relying on scores...
***"Ultimately then, it looks like the answer to the question ‘should you buy Ninja Gaiden 3?’ remains inconclusive, with the game currently sitting at a rather average metacritic score of 60."***
Generally I guess a 60 for a game would be average. If only most gaming sites actually reviewed with that type of scale. 60 IMO is horrid. I would never purchase a 6/10 game... at least not day one.
Who said 3/10 was reserved for "broken games"...?
According to IGN a 3/10 means that the game is "awful" broken or not.
***"What does make it a failure is if they were unable to capitalise on the changes to the point where simply meeting the status-quo would have been a better game...and quite frankly from the review it doesn't sound like that"***
***"I'am no fan of the series nor do I really care ab...
Whoa, since when do people have to agree with your opinion lol?
I think you are getting facts and opinions confused...
