For some reason I doubt you've ever purchased a Insomniac game 'new' before.
***"You mean like charging people for downloading in the background?"***
LOL What are you talking about? People have been downloading stuff in the background way before PS+ started. My Ni No Kuni demo downloaded in the background. What are you smoking lol?
I find it hilarious that you see a problem with downloading things in the background being a premium feature, but online multiplayer for a game you already paid for being a premium feature is okey...
OH BOY...
No surprise ALLWRONG looking for any ammo he can get his hands on.
I can't believe you even asked such a question. Why would Sony charge people for patches?
Anyhow this isn't even a feature. It helps to actually read the article. This is a work around/trick, hence the tutorial given in the article, but this trick can only be utilized by PS+ users. It uses the "automatic update" which automatically downloads things ...
The truth about you is starting to come out in the open...
@CryofSilence
Well said.
When I read the title I was a bit upset, but then I actually read the article and found out that ND actually did the fans a great a service.
I wouldn't want a Jak game that isn't a Jak game. ND's ambitions for Jak 4 didn't match the previous Jak and Dax games so they decided not to do it, GOOD. I'm so glad ND didn't pull a Capcom and reboot the franchise. I'm also glad that ND didn't fo...
***"Yep, but it's because they have too. They can't afford not to."***
I sense a stealth jab here.
What do you mean that "they can't afford not to?" If it's profitable, why would you drop support for it even you could afford to drop it?
A match made in Heaven set the fires in hell...
It is totally possible for MS to announce another game, though time is ticking.. Looks like 720 coming this fall is obviously the main reason.
Based off the trailer shown, I'm having trouble believing that it is a Vita title... at least not an exclusive one. It might be PS360 with a PSV version done separately/scaled down. I really wish Kojima would just officially confirm/deny everything already.
I wasn't talking about marketing. I was talking about people saying Sony can't afford to release too many games.
With that said, I don't recall seeing a Twisted Metal ad, nor a Starhawk ad, nor a Sorcery ad. I have seen ads for recent titles such as Battle Royale, LPK, and WonderBook however and not mention 3rd party games such as Need For Speed and Assassin's Creed III. I personally think that when Sony does actually advertize they should show actual gameplay...
Ok, the writer is just ridiculous. He's complaining about stuff that is prevalent in almost, if not all video games that have a story. Video games just simply aren't at that level of story telling yet and
***"Worst of all is the surrogate conscience. I don’t care what kind of woman she is, or what the relationship angle might be, I just don’t want to hear them yammer at me about dying horses or gasping at the horrors I’ve wrought, because we both know it’s not a...
Everything is overrated to someone one way or the other. At the end of the day Uncharted is a great series which contains one of the best games to came out this gen in UC2. Since Uncharted is a great series it deserves every praise it gets. Don't be upset that people don't praise something at the specific itsy-bitsy level that you deem as not "overrating" it too much.
@AdmiralSnake
I am totally aware of the issues KZ2 had. That's where the "improve upon" comes in. There have been countless number of suggestions to improve KZ2 on the KZ forums. Base raping or spawn trapping or whatever you want to call it can be fixed. The spawn grenade should have certain restrictions on where it should be thrown. For instance, base camps would have a radius around it were it would be illegal to throw a spawn grenade and thus prevent the spaw...
Funny how before it was "the PS3 has no games, Sony needs to release more exclusives." Now people are starting to question if Sony releases to many, lol.
Sony should keep doing what they are doing. The reason why people keep saying that Sony should release less games is because they assume that every single one of them costs tens of millions dollars to make. If releasing so much games was really hurting their bottom dollar they would have slowed down production/rele...
The funny thing is people still view the PSP and PS3 as failures. The PSP is a failure because it didn't out sell the DS and the PS3 is failure because it failed to maintain the 90+ million gap between it and the next best selling console like it did last gen, crazy I know. So I doubt the Vita will be seen as a success no matter how much it sales in the future as people will find every excuse in the book.
KZ is about the MP.
With that said the only valid point the guy made was his first paragraph. Everything else would completely destroy the balance which Killzone is known for, but was lost in KZ3 due to CoDification.
Guerrilla Games simply need to go back to KZ2 roots and improve upon that like they should have done with KZ3. KZ4 should be the the true sequel to KZ2.
It took me three play throughs to get into it, but that was mainly because I haven't played a real jrpg in looong time. The more I played the demo the more liked it. I like everything about the game from the battle system to the graphics to the music to the world map. My only concern is the story. I know I shouldn't doubt Level 5, but I can't help, but doubt. I'll be waiting for the feedback on the story from my fellow gamers before I pick this game up as story in games is ver...
Only haters and fake gamers make the case that the Vita is on it's death bed...

The reason why XBL isn't free is because it started last gen when online gaming wasn't standard. MS saw online gaming as an additional feature, which at that the time it essentially was. But now pretty much every single game has an MP portion so charging to game on online seems borderline criminal.
Nothing wrong with a premium service, but there is something wrong in charging an additional fee for someone to play the online portion of a game that they have already pai...
Yep. Good to the see PD's hard work paying off for making the king of sims in the form of the Gran Turismo franchise.
