There is plenty of time for them to polish up the graphics. To say a game seems rushed and needs more polish 9 months before it's even out is ridiculous. I mean, what do you expect they'll being doing from now to release? Twiddling their thumbs?

kellymiester, you reminded of the times when certain people reduced the whole 1st, 2nd, 3rd places to just Win and Lost, but somehow there were two winners and only one loser in that tier system lol. MS and Ninty were winners and Sony was the loser.

Sales shouldn't matter to gamers, but that hasn't stopped gamers from calling the PS3 a failure because it went from 1st to 3rd sales wise. You seem upset lol. Best to wait for official Sony and MS numbers, but both companies always report shipped numbers. There is no official "sold to consumers" numbers. So if thinking shipped numbers are a "little fishy" helps you sleep better then keep thinking that.
Both have done well. I don't get why people feel the need to down play it.

At the end of the day BOTH have sold 75 million+ and will likely reach 80-90 million+ when it's all said and done. Nothing to be ashamed about at all and in no way a failure.
This must be false. N4G told me that the 360 ALWAYS regains the lead it had in the beginning of year after the holiday season. I refuse to believe this.

Games should be $40 a pop period. Nothing higher than that. I never pay over $40 for a game anymore. I wait for price drop to $40 as I buy all my games new. Only game this year I'm getting at full price is GTA5.
Last gen I had no problem shelling full price for games that I was semi-interested in. This gen I ONLY pay full price for games I know I WILL enjoy 100%.
$40 should go back to being standard in my opinion.

Personally I don't see this as any more of a "gimmick" than installing surround sound speakers in your living room. And this can be applied to hardcore games no problem unlike motion controls which we have yet to see a GREAT hardcore game that only uses motion controls. Hopefully next gen we'll finally see one.
