The title is a bit misleading. I was confused as well. It's not really an "outage." You can sign in and play online, but can't access PS Store and Account Management. Some people can't sign in online though because they didn't login between Tuesday and the day of the maintenance.
Totally agree about FFXII. I felt the battle system while not perfect was a step in the right direction, but FFXIII took a thousand steps back with it's battle system.
If they are gonna change the controller for PS4 then they should at least make the DS3 compatible with the PS4 as well. That way those that prefer DualShock can continue to use it.
***"Sure you can argue that XBL is $40-$60 but you are playing on a unified service where you still get "free" content from MS (sure most is XBLA content) but you get to KEEP IT if you cancel XBL."***
What is free that you get to keep? Online gaming? Youtube? Or are you talking about giveaways? If so then that argument is invalid as it is a giveaway and NOT an actual feature that comes with being a member by default as you would have had to be a member at ...
***"Maintenance doesn't mean you can't sign in. It just means you might not be able to."***
That makes sense. I was playing KZ2 and Battle Royale online from 7-10pm est so now that I saw that there was a supposed maintenance I was scratching my head a bit. If what you said is true it explains a lot.
The only thing that I think is out dated is having battles take place on a separate screen. All battles should happen real time in this day and age in my opinion. You can still have Ni no Kuni's type of battle system happening real time in a similar way FF12 battle system was done. I think this is the way JRPGs should go.
What I like most about Ni No Kuni is the over world that JRPG devs felt was dated when HD consoles launched. If Ni No Kuni is successful we should be se...
***"Show some respect for nintendo"***
Wish you had the same mentality for other companies...
lol, well said sir!
I really hope it does sell well. It's a great game and deserves great sales. We also need more JRPGs like it.
***"the last core PS3 game was in 2011 and the next isn't do for months."***
***"The closest to "core" for the PS3 has been Journey."***
That is ALL WRONG. Starhawk, Twisted Metal, and Battle Royale are all hardcore and came out last year.
Nice Try Though.
:D
Here we go again. Not caring doesn't change reality.
You don't have one. No need to lie.
You shouldn't be expecting anything major for 360. MS isn't going to announce a major title that's going to release in mere months upon announcement. All the major titles will come when the nextbox is revealed.
lol wow, Truth_Seeker is searching the bottom barrel of month(s) old negative Sony articles.

This article is a little over a month old. Not sure if that's old enough for a report so I won't report the article.
The general consensus appears to be that the PS4 is the "underdog" going into next gen so it will be interesting to see people's reflections on the state of next gen consoles 6-7 years from now if the PS4 ends up doing well.
Can't wait to pick this game up. Finally a true JRPG reminiscent of the PS1 jrpg glory days.
^^ LOL You two actually believe nukeitall was serious about his post?
Muerte2494, had you said you'd pull the first trigger on Microsoft's system he wouldn't have even made a reply to you.
Don't be fooled. He has already decided.
Way to start the inevitable ****storm by bringing up xbl...
***"And the overall world design doesn’t seem to have changed much. Aside from the camera showing more things in the distance, I’m not sure I would have really been able to tell that the game was a serious first step into the world of 3D. It looks to be more or less laid out in the same grid-like fashion we’ve always known. If that’s the case, why bother making it 3D at all? At least in 2.5D games the 3D graphics have the benefit of fleshing out the level backgrounds with intense levels ...
***"Xbox became a console game leader in a fraction of the time it took both Nintendo and Sony to do during their brand's lifetime."***
?
"In a fraction of the time?"
Sony's first console is the PS1. How much did that sell?
Microsoft's first console was the Xbox. How much did that sell?
After answering those questions Re-read that quote and tell me how that makes any sense in anyway..
