The reason why this game and 13-2 was hated before any details were revealed is because these games are coming BEFORE Versus 13 which was announced in 2006. I guarantee you that the hate would be at a minimum had VS13 been released before the announce...

I think it's extremely laughable that 70 million sales can be a success for one company, but is a complete and utter failure for another.
So let me get this straight, the only way or shall I say the only scenario for Sony to be considered a success this gen is for them to maintain the market share and sales they had from last gen? In other words the 360 and Wii had to sell 20 million a piece again while the PS3 had to sell 150 mil? Does that sound realistic to you guys?
I'd definitely buy a Wii-U if they had a free-roam 3D open world Pokémon game for it. I've been wanting a Pokémon game like that for the longest. No offensive to the current Pokémon games that are out now, but I've gotton tired of core Pokémon gameplay in recent years.

This trailer completely turned me off. It looks like a 13-2 expansion pack. I hope this game flops. Square Enix needs a real good lesson. They can't just ride on the Final Fantasy name forever. They need to start actually making good games and actually start making games that people are asking for. No one asked for a FF13 trilogy.

Despite my hate for FF13&13-2, so far FF13-3 is sounding good to me. I'm still tired of this "Lightning Saga" though.
It has nothing to with being exclusive or not. If you are a fan of a game the most important thing to you is whether or not the game itself is good not whether or not it's exclusive.
I'm of the opinion that real time combat is the way FF needs to go and that turn based random encounter gameplay is dated. I feel like FF12's battle system was a step in the right direction for FF. Sure it wasn't perfect, but that is why you improve upon it instead of ditching it ...
