i thoroughly enjoyed the game and still play a couple a games of multiplayer everyday
what did you really expect from the sequel, people complain that it is too much of the same, but then those same people complain about the few small things they did change

played the demo and left very underwhelmed
a few friends bought the game, beat it in a few hours and then realized it wasn't worth the cash
honestly, the game isn't that great, it is a very average game with a very short duration and above average art direction
i think it is quite odd that not a lot of games focus on wwi
even though it is a snoopy game, its refreshing to see the baron type planes and such in a game
undoubtedly a childrens title but I'd like to see some realistic ace fighter games that aren't in the modern era of guided missiles
i would hope so, the xmb is a series of small png images, if it can't display those smoothly then it has a problem
there is a lot going on in the NXE perhaps you need to actually see it to understand how incredibly;y fast it is for the amount of items on each screen
from a technical aspect NXE wasn't expected to be as fast or as smooth as it actually is

actually microsoft was aware of the theme issue and that why in the last few months the themes that you have seen are free
they actually put a hold on all third part content such as themes and gamerpics a few months ago and that isn't changing until around the first of the year
at that time a few select developers are going to be able to distribute premium themes and avatar accessories

i installed gears 2 and it makes the texture pops pretty much null
i went up in rank this morning and then i had 3 bad games and lost a level and haven't gotten it back yet even though i've won several more
it still doesn't seem like ti works "right"
in fairness the fact that is can run linux wasn't proven by any hacker, sony released a linux kit for the ps2, although it was extremely limited
it inst down and wasn't down aside from the 45 minutes they put it offline this morning
some people were having connection issues, nowhere near everyone
i still have yet to have any problems, been playing gears 2 throughout the entire weekend and didn't have any issues other than a couple laggy games with some aussies
they aren't going to compensate anyone when the problem is only affecting a fraction of the users for an extremely limited amount of time

another thing that should be pointed out is the fact that the subscription fees are fed back directly back into the system
to prove that all we have to do is look at the jump from original live to 360 live, and from OG 360 to NXE
the system has gone from a simple lobby system to the model of online gaming and guess what? subscriber fees made it happen

i think people misinterpreted my point so i'll clear it up a little
when i said that they had most things done for them it was a reflection in the fact that hardly anything original is in cod:waw
the perk system is hardly changed, the physics remain largely unaltered, even the score boards are exactly the same but with a different(and less appealing) color palette
all treyarch did was copy cod4, they had a chance to greatly improve upon it and fix the fl...
they got the shoes half filled already though, infinity ward did the hard work by writing the engine and designing the concept, treyarch basically plugged new weapons and vegetation in the cod4 shell
i can't really say i give much credit to treyarch for what they have done because they didn't do a lot of it
i'm not sure what agme tur playing, but saying gears 2 doesn't look good is just foolish
especially looking at sections of the campaign such as inside the worm, and the palace
you can't honestly look at those areas and say this game didn't look good, they were some of the best looking environments seen in a game to date
as for characters again, some of the best looking models out there, and very well animated for being as bulky as they are
