onlive isn't going to do anything other than be a subscription based version of steam
it wont be widely adopted, huge publishers like sony, microsoft, and blizzard aren't going for it

the screens were taken from different sections with flickering lights that drastically altered the appearance of the scene on both platforms
crytek is selling a bit of snake oil here, they intentionally did not do straight up system compares in the same locales
they did this to show there is very little if any difference between the platforms, if they showed 1 platform looking bad...
the 360 version also is from a different vantage point and more of the background is obscured by the smoke in the air

if you really think you would notice that difference in motion you are rather foolish, the only differences you people are picking out are from freeze frame shots created solely to stir argument

the only differences really come in the color palettes, ps3 is more red which we have seen time and time again, and 360 is more blue which we have seen time and time again
wait until somebody actually uses the engine in a game before critiquing because honestly a lot of you have no clue what is going on
you guys are comparing geometry, geometry isn't part of the engine
the engine is whats controlling everything you see, calculations, computations, physics
saying a gun or arm is lacking shows that you really don't know what is going on and you probably shouldn't be comparing anything

dev kits do not work the same as retail boxes, they do not run "games" they run unsigned and uncompiled code
which means every time you boot one of these up a little more oomph is needed to egt rolling than the average retail game
this speeds up that process as well as the debug process

-lower development cost
-easier development process
what that turns into for you is better games faster and potentially cheaper
the 360 is at the stage in its lifespan now where we are going to see more games at $50 and $40 and even the odd title here an there lower than that
