there will be more exclusives on 360 announced at GDC and e3, the 360 has plenty coming
that doesn't mean any trouble was there, it only means that not all of the trailer was in game
probably 80% of the trailers that come out aren't all in game, its clear that portions of this are kinematics and CG so of course its not in game
you can tell what is clearly in game and it looks pretty good if you ask me
if they are having so much trouble getting it to work on 360 then they will have a heck of a time on ps3, a 360 is basically a pc with a univ...
nah i don't post on kotaku, this is really the only site i'm active on that i don't use of my real world identity
actually i played through metal gear on my friends ps3, it was 7-10 hours for me
the reasoning for my statement is this:
-that is not for sure the reason that the game may be short
-games this gen are barely reaching a gameplay time of 10 hours on any platform regardless of exclusivity
-other games with far more involved or on a comparable level have easily fit on 1 disc
- resident evil games in the past had been on multiple discs, capcom isn't afraid to split content if need be
-if space were an issue the ps3 version would look marked...
the fact that 20+ people agreed with this idiot shows the intelligence level of this site
this game has co-op online...
4 player co-op to be exact, there is a whole section in the multiplayer menu entitled co-op
did you go online?
im really surprised a new crimson skies hasnt come out, microsoft game studios owns the IP
perhaps it is one of the cards they are holding for a future release?
my thought exactly, braid was pretty decent but it was basically mario on mushrooms
had the art style not been so outrageous i doubt as many people would have bought it
agreed, a price break on games for gold members FTW
im not slighting sony, im just curious of the actual numbers
sony still hasnt said if they are counting multiple accounts yet, which i suspect they are because they cant differentiate between unique users and multiple accounts via a single ps3
i suspect the number of unique users on psn is a fair bit lower than sonys numbers imply
but a subscriber also does no equal every person who owns a 360, you still have to sign up
so that makes what something like 8-9 million pay? that is not far off from the amount of wow subscribers which pay about 3 times as much per month for 1 game as opposed to hundreds
i've been a member of live since the beginning and the price never bothered me and the amount of fun and the amount of friends i've made easily outweighs that $30-$50 a year
you named about 10 EA games, all of which use EA online which has nothing to do with any thing here because they operate on ea's servers which have been up and running for years without issue
resistance 2 did have issues when it was launched, some people weren't able to get in games at all for a few days
the reality is most games have issues at launch, KZ2 probably will
street fighter also shouldn't be counted because its a 1v1 situation, not 10-15 playe...
the game wasn't broken for months, it had matchmaking issues which were fixed within 3 weeks, matchmaking worked it just took a while sometimes
what was broken about the game was people finding and exploiting glitches to cheat
and when you say "you heard" i assume you "read on n4g", while gears 2 had problems they werent what they were made to be by people on here
i still hear people complain about the matchmaking but it doesn't take ...
actually your wrong about gears 2 not working, it works fine for a lot of people, there were issues at the beginning if you were trying to find a game with a party of 1 or 4, that was promptly fixed in december
a lot of people including myself haven't had a matchmaking issue since then, most of the problem in gears stems from the users internet connection(DSL=bad) and their router(linksys=bad) and a combination of those 2 renders you unable to find a game at all
not all of live crashed, the only time all of live was unavailable was the day they shut it down to fix the issue
it was mostly regional, my friends near my and myself had no issue finding games and playing but people we knew as little at 10 miles away were affected
not every game works the same on live either, there are 3 options a developer has for live development
realistically you should expect problems with KZ2 online at launch, it happens with mos...
it was a premium theme and themes are not the same as game content
all you have to do is look at the list of developers who have offered free content to see my point
if you were aware of anything you'd realize that that the attack doesn't come through live and the very same thing could happen to you on your precious psn
except for the fact that fable 2 and gears2 sold boatloads within a 2 month span
