gears 2 did the flood thing already and it is kinda lame
and everything you have listed is pretty much not the way call of duty is, people like the way modern warfare plays, they don't ned game changing and possibly game breaking gimmicks
other games already do those things and not many of them ended up being that good
if they take the gameplay that is in place and evolve it and refine it the game will be great
infinity ward knows what FPS p...
the people who spend their lives making those madden games would probably disagree with you
on topic: i'm in aggreement that some content prices are getting out of hand, but the article unfairly paints the problem to be an xbox live problem when the very same content sells for the same price via psn or in some cases PC
off topic: i occasionally do work for a company that provides digital content(ie themes, gamerpics) for xbox live and psn
im not sure why this blog is singling out xbox when he discussing multiplatform DLC like burnout
90% of the prices on xbox live are determined by the publisher despite what anyone says
MS suggests a price that the content should be sold at, the publisher proposes their price and they usually are in agreement
family game night and burnout pardise are both published by EA, they are notorious for ripping gamers on DLC
i'm not one to defend all ...
@2.2 the Leipzig convention doesn't exist anymore
@2.3 in microsofts case about 90% of their e3 announcements are for that fall if you go by the last 2 years
clever
i dont think so, i don't think the ufc has a female division
i'm doubting there will be a multiplayer beta, its going to piggyback on halo 3 and use the same exact system that has been in place for years
they may introduce a few new game types but other than that don't expect anything different than what is present in halo 3 already
i dont understand why you would want text chat when 360s are packaged with headsets, voice chat is the primary mode of communication
text chat seems unneeded and annoying
with all of the voice options i can't say i miss text chat at all
even if you do want this functionality it is kind of there in msn messenger which i never use(surprise)
voice party > text any day
i never played tekken with a dpad so i'm not sure what the complaints are
tekken is very analog friendly
there are some irregularities that leads me to believe this could be in game on pc
the console version doesn't look like that though, it still looks really great but nothing like that
clearly just pushing games that aren't selling well
half of the stuff they have listed has bee at that price for ages already
perks, bullet speed degradation and penetration, progressive rank/level system
that enough?
how do you ahve any idea it will be "more of the same"?
we haven't seen 1 bit of the game yet and everybody just assumes this or that
you're blind
no bugs or glitches? tell that to the guys hopping out of maps and shooting shot gun blasts out of pistols
smoke grenades still ragdoll you for way too long if you are on slopes
no lag? i just have to laugh at that, still about 1 out of every 4-5 games you get into is ridiculously laggy, you still run into lag switchers although by doing it now they seal their own fate
i've only been playing to get the rank achievements, the game h...
no what he is saying is they put a rather long delay, if you come out of a roadie run it takes about a second before you can shoot or melee
so if you roadie around a corner and somebody is there, you are left wide open for a dull second until you can attack them
it has slowed the game tremendously, roadie running is nearly useless now
i rarely have to wait more than a minute with open nat, at this point it almost has to be you
i'm not happy with the prices, and the prices have actually amde be more scrutinizing of the titles i buy
this gen i have bought far far less games than i had in the passed
for my 360 i've bought maybe a total of 20 games over the 2 years i've had it, as opposed to the 150+ i bought for ps1 and the 100+ i bought for ps2
40-50 dollars i much more easy to swallow than 60
as of late i've been buying games from the bargain bins, buying arcades g...
onlive isn't going to go anywhere, in all honesty i will be incredibly surprised if it gets off the ground
if it does make it then it wont last long because they need people to buy in and subscribe to the service
subscribing to something that offers substantially less than other platforms, that operates on a very high range of variables is going to be a little tough
of course game companies are supporting it, it doesn't cost them anything to support it, ...
some people enjoy watching films and don't care if it isn't in HD
plenty of the world is still watching standard def television, standard dvds
odd thing is people still enjoy it, amazing right?
ps3 doesn't need netflix but honestly it SHOULD have netflix
