Yea, story pacing aside, the combat system is pretty killer, especially if you slow it down to play it more like a tactical turned based jrpg!
I actually wish FF16 had gone this route, instead of the DMC route. The FF7:R system gave enough action for those who wanted to play that way, while still appeasing us old school turn based jrpg fans.

Most small indies don't even grovel this much for approval. It sounds kind of unprofessional really, "oh you didn't play it right", like a teenage employee at Gamestop. Usually developer responses on Steam thank the person for their feedback, tell them that they'll consider this feedback towards future improvements to the game. Perfect for playing on the Portal, since rpgs can be such timesinks. For those people who can't stay glued to the TV, it's good to give some freedom around the house, out on the porch or whatever. I haven't picked up a Portal yet, bc of life priorities, but I definitely anticipate picking one up asap and playing more rpgs!

it. But I really hope they do a Quake 3 Arena with crossplay option too. I recently went back and played on PC, and had a ton of fun. Would be nice to have servers officially reopened with a retail remaster! The Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 days are my fondest memories of online shooters.

Oh man, that William's Doom on PS1 had the best music/ambience! Really sounded hellish and it still sounds amazing today. I always preferred it over the original Midi music from PC. Doom 64 was really good too for that era!

I think Black Friday is the one time a year I'll give them a pass. But, Black Friday has spread beyond the States so it would be nice to see some roundups from other regions.
But yea, I wouldn't want to see a ton. Maybe just 1 N4G Blog Entry with a number of highlights and links on it. Or they could even just pin it as a highlighted ad, just like they have this month's PS5 Contest.
