There is always a point in an upcoming game that when the hype gets to a certain stage, no matter how good the game is, some people will be disappointed simply due to the fact the hype was making the games expectations reach impossible heights, i can name many games that suffered from this. Watch dogs, assassins creed 3, titanfall, most cod games. All of them have fans and all of them had such high expectations it became impossible not to match them.
I liked all of them, but tbh, if any show had me excited more than any other, it would be Ubisoft. They seemed to have made another great far cry, and surprised me with assassins creed unity, they seemed (at least on 1st impressions) fixed all the niggling problems the fans of the series have complained about.
Can anyone honestly tell me if Microsoft done what Sony did (the banging on about tv and movies) that alot of you wouldn't have slated them for it? We all know you would. That's the biased i hate. I knw Microsoft cocked up last year, but this year they made true on their promise, games, games, games. Only one kinect game and one mention of a show. Like i said Sony went 30 mins about tv, if Microsoft did that ud be all over them for it.
If true id wager its the xbox one slim
So long as there is a good single player campaign i wont mind, i just hope it ain't a online only thing, im a fan of the series and even i would lose alot of interest if its going to be online only, assassins creed made its name as a single player open world game. Having a co-op part of the game is interesting, so long as its not mingling with the single player. The idea that it seems at least is likened to evolve, now co-op is good for evolve, but not assassins creed. At least in the sto...
The striking is simple enough but the ground game is a little too complicated from the demo, it doesn't help u enough during the tutorial when it comes to the ground game, hope the final product explains it enough during the training parts of the game.
I challenge anyone to watch the video and cover up the names of the console they r running on and honestly tell which is which, itll b just blind luck, speaking of blindness, no matter how each one looked, all the fanboys will instantly support there console regardless of what they look like.
Look at the fanboys go! Cant u guys just enjoy games instead of spewing bile at each other? Nope, cos that would require u both to leave ur ridiculous hate for any other console that isn't yours behind.
Frame rate, yes. Resolution, so long as its not blurry as hell it doesn't matter. Dnt knw y this debate has become the most talked about, resolution is the 5th or 6th most important part of the visuals of the game. So how this became the hot topic when comparing games i really dnt know.
Unless the images/videos are identical in location, angle, time of day and most importantly in this game the weather effects, its almost impossible to draw any solid conclusion. The weather effects in this game are very sophisticated and can change how an image or video is dramatically, so until we see something like a cut scene comparison, i wont be convinced either way.
@dantesparda, unless u have a 50+ inch tv and sitting less than 5 feet from it, u wont notice a real difference between 720p to 1080p, let alone 792p vs 900p. And resolution isn't graphics, u should want aethestics, texture, lighting, shading and a decent game engine long before u think about resolution, if resolution is all that matters to u, just play Tetris at 1080p and leave everyone else to play the games that are made with their priorities right, like watchdogs for example, great ef...
Chicago is cool, not many games set there, yet if u want a city that has cameras, London should be high on the list, its officially has the most surveillance than any city in the world. And its got loadsa cool landmarks that i knw Ubisoft go big on when creating a city.
This just proves that the xb1 has the better games, despite the ps4 out selling the xb1 atm, the xb1 still sells more games. The ps4 only has a small handfull of half decent games, while xb1 has plenty, and plenty yet to come.
U can have both, but im just saying which id prefer if id have to pick, which at the early stage of this generation, developers have to
Why are people hating on this? They are doing what is being asked of them while spencer has been cleaning up after mattricks cock ups. They correct what has been criticized of them and people still go crazy. Unbelievable
They will eventually, but many people forget that this is the beginning of the generation, so both haven't been mastered yet. Remember when the first games came out on 360/ps3? Then look at the games that came out in the last year for them? Huge graphical difference.
@jughead. People seem to be forgetting that little detail of it being at the beginning of the generation. 5 years on and games will look alot better. Its a marathon not a sprint.
Ill take lighting, shading, aesthetics, texture, and excellent gameplay and story before resolution. They seem to be doing a brilliant job.
Words the article uses that sums up my feeling about the move. 'thats more like it'.
Explain how this is different from any gaming company? They all run on money, not the bottled passion of gamers.
