This article has no sources, only a few paragraphs of writing and doesn't even fully confirm exactly what the rumour even is. This is just clickbait

As charming and quaint indie games are or can be, indie games dnt make the bulk of the money required to keep the gaming industry alive, AAA games are ultimately the games that keep people buying games again and again.

So long as people pay for it and developers make profit from it, dlc and season passes aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

If u r a fan of open world games, its a good buy, if u like tolkiens work, its a good buy, if u like both, its a no brainer..

I think we can all agree that we would all give up top notch graphics for a game that has similar immersion, storytelling and gameplay to games like skyrim or mass effect. Over the past year its as if developers are focusing far too much on visuals and not enough on content and gameplay. I want a great story, immersive and imaginative world, topped off with great gameplay, graphics must be done after all those things and nat make it the be all and end all.

As an assassins creed fan, i gotta admit i dnt like the look of rogue, just a rehash of black flag, which was a very good game. Same kill animations, same gameplay, similar era, same characters again. But then again, ac: unity looks stunning.

First game i saw that made me think 'i must have' was the first assassins creed, the visuals for the time were very impressive and the setting and story was like nothing ive seen previously.

@johndoe11211. They are not hating on an entire fanbase, they are vilifying fanboys, in this article it seems to be Sony fanboys, the article does state they dnt like Microsoft or Nintendo fanboys.
fanboys of any alliance are bias and hypocritical, and truly are the cancer of the gaming industry. This article could easily be written better, and is unprofessional i agree with u on that, but the article is ultimately against fanboys, to which just on principle i agree with the article, ...

Well, u certainly are one of a minority for using ur brain and not a knee jerk reaction. But u say ur sure that bayonettas creators went to Sony and Microsoft aswell and got told no? Where's ur source? Bayonetta was a very popular series and i had no doubt there was going to be a sequel, just didn't think it would be exclusive. IM just saying this backlash over Microsoft and the exclusive deal with cd is just knee jerk reaction by ps4 fanboys sore because theyre sense of entitlement a...

My point is that people are outraged because its Microsoft being involved, Nintendo did the exact same thing with bayonetta, did people get just as outraged? Nope. Because its Nintendo. But because its Microsoft, and its 'the cool thing' to hate them atm, people can spout hate about how Microsoft are the antichrist, even the lead writer of rise of the tomb raider is getting a shit ton of hate mail about this, none of this happened to Nintendo, hell if people are this bothered about ex...

And if this happened to be a ps4 exclusive would half of you be as outraged? No, its all bias, if this was a ps4 exclusive we wouldn't see people outraged, we would see people praising cd for doing good business, but because they done the deal with Microsoft to ensure they get enough money, droves of people hate them. Pure bias.

U gotta think here cos crystal dynamics knew this kind of backlash was going to happen, all this immediate knee jerk reaction of butthurt fanboys barking on about how tomb raider betrayed Sony and bla bla, is just more evidence of how good a coup this was for them, now if u dnt own an xb1, u ain't gonna play it, and everyone who is going mad right now, even if they claim they hate tomb raider and Microsoft for doing this, even they will have a little bit of envy toward xb1 owners, and wil...

And that's the double edge sword that hype is. If u overhype a game, regardless of how good the game is, it will still disappoint people, the full game of destiny could be brilliant and could keep people putting in hours as much as skyrim did. But if its overhyped, peoples expectations will so high itll disappoint people.

Bringing out so many games in quick succession can be bad because if u are not flush with cash u will have to priorities which ones u want.

At this point in gaming, there is little worry in graphical quality, even last gen there were some that had poor graphics, ive yet to come across a single game this new gen that has poor graphics, even this early into the generation,so imagine what itll b like in 4-5 years time. But i think the added processing power of these consoles will allow larger more detailed open worlds, and more systems similar to shadow.of mordors nemesis system to keep gameplay fresh and replayable. But aswell we wi...

Its gonna take a long while to explain it all, its one of the deepest storylines in all of gaming.

Both consoles seem to have a minimal number of platforms becoming faulty or malfunctioning, especially compared to last gen, seems they both got the overheating issue sorted.

For me i enjoy it, on the issue of the strikes not taking much affect, in career mode, at the beginning the strikes are weak and take alot to knock a guy out, but when u get to the upper echelons of the rankings, it doesn't take alot of solid hits to do some real damage. Everything else is just a large learning curve, the controls are alot different from previous titles.

I think all of them are vicious fighters, and personally i don't like Connor as a character, too naive and has zero charisma. But as a fighter i still think he would have had a serious shot at anyone, especially if the fight went really up close and personal, he was the strongest and had a unique way of fighting.
Altair was excellent and would give anyone a run for there money but he was limited by the technology of his time.

Deadliest tools? Maybe, phantom blade is a cool addition and he seems to be a very competent swordsman. Along with a pistol, he will have among the deadliest tool sets and seems to be the most agile or ninja-esque of previous assassins. Saying he is the deadliest assassin is a difficult call, as u have to take into account the changes in technology and enemies, as deadly as altair was, he wouldn't cope in revolutionary France, he would get shot if seen. And he wouldn't have a counter ...
