Some Sony fans i think have gone from idiotic fanboys to full blown fanaticism.
If u think that resolution is the most important thing about any game u got into gaming for the wrong reasons.
Someone give bioware a cookie. Able to work with ea and not drown us in dlc.
Surely this has to happen eventually. Right? I mean just by popular demand, china or Japan would be awesome. Ancient Egypt would also be cool.
Any one who gets hold of a game before the release date should expect some bugs and glitches, this will be rectified on the day one patch, especially with the new gen consoles, it happen quite often last gen too.
Unfortunately most vids or images on previews are compressed. As for the e3 version, most game companies use top of the range pc's to show of a new game, it ain't new. So consoles will always be slightly less impressive when they go on the shelves, but this still looks great.

From reading the article it seemed to me that the writer thinks that all the changes made, like the parkour and the combat (both of which were changes asks for by fans....Alot) he didn't seem to like, every change in gameplay is a learning curve, and he just didn't seem to like the challenge. I would rather have exquisite artificial intelligence on screen and excellent clothing mechanics plus decent co-op, all of which drain resources alot. I would rather have all of those things than have higher numbers on things that wont be as noticeable as the list previously stated in this comment and mt previous. Resolution doesn't guarantee good visuals, u can have a game look better in 900p than 1080p if u do it right. Instead of people stubbornly believing that 1080p makes a game look...
Your mistaken, very mistaken indeed. Resolution doesn't mean a game cant have excellent visuals, brilliant lighting, shading and aesthetics. And tbh, acu has the best graphics on a game that is coming out this year.
Please be only a tiny portion of this game, i wanna run around revolutionary Paris, not some time mash up cos the animus glitches like hell.
Every demo/alpha/beta versions of a game will have performance issues one way or another, some alot more noticeable than others, just wait until the game comes out or reviewed for it to be truly judged.
@colemacgrath, that may work actually. But it would have to put effort in not to be too similar but also not too different to the main series.
@plutonash, well in this story Elise is not that way inclined. So to change her orientation depending on what gender u choose to be is a bit odd to do story wise. This story is about Arno's progression from novice to master assassin, to change his identity in anyway will affect the story too much, assassins creed has always been story orientated. Games like tomb raider, uncharted, or bayonetta are also story and character driven games and fans would go nuts if they gave lara croft or Nath...
Although i would love it to be a full rpg like the games u stated, u dnt think being able to change the gender of the main character would suit the single player, or the multiplayer of this game, simply because in this game sp and mp are intertwined, u need to be playing as the same character just for it to make sense of the story, its about arno's progression, and it wouldn't work if everytime u went into mp he suddenly had a sex change, also it wouldn't make sense if arno was a ...
This has easily some of the best visuals ive ever seen in a game. And yet people are still annoyed about the res, if it looks great, it looks great, grow up.

If they do go 1080p itll sacrifice the amount of AI on screen, as the statement said the cpu creates a bottleneck to which they had to decide wether it be 1080p or the target amount of ai on screen, id choose the ai to have interesting gameplay over 1080p any day. If all the Sony ponies still want 1080p after that, give it to them but take away the amount of ai, let them have 1080p with little ai, while we have 900p and have the full gameplay package, not that there is any practical differenc...
Exactly, people seem to forget that especially in recent years, games have day one patches that improve things like patches and stability, anyone who gets the game early and play it before the patch should expect some problems, if its still bad after the patch then people do have the right to be annoyed, but until then people need to calm down.
