I find the Kinect with voice and gesture control interesting. Also since it has the windows 8 kernel I wonder how good the apps will be. With the amount of servers on line I bet the download speeds will be better I hope. But I see great games on both of the ps4 and xbox one I wish to play. First I will get the xbox one and then ps4 but if I can swing it both at the same time.
Who is the idiot that came up with this complaint. If you can't afford internet you better not buy a console. I think you would have more to worry about than games like food and shelter moron.
Mmmm no one seems to know for sure if cloud computing for games works well. Most I see on here have no clue about it but act like experts. For myself I do not know but will wait and see if it does work. I hope it will but I need proof one way or the other. And please unless you are an expert and work in this field try not to speak about something you have no clue about.
And with all that supposed greatness the funny thing will be not many but fanboys will notice any difference in the games. And most of your comments are incomplete and onesided. Let's see after both of these toys are out and then make a judgment. As of now no one here knows but the people who made them.
The thing I wonder about if 100 dollars more is too much maybe you can't afford either. With games at 60 dollars 100 dollar difference seems small to me. I will get the Xbox for the games Kinect (which I hope is as good as it seems) and multitasking. The ps4 for just the games. It does not bring anything new but some great games and better graphics. By the way compition is good for the industry and both consoles need to succeed. Having only one console provider let's them determine th...
I disagree we will never see that much of a difference between the two. Only on first party games you might see a little improvement. We all have heard this prediction before and it never happens. Only which type of games you like or company you wish to support really matters it appears to me. Sorry I buy because of games and will get both.
I never understood this inferior hardware thing. I got both the Xbox 360 and ps3 and never saw much of a difference. Now we have machines that are 8 to 10 times more power and people think they will see much of a difference between the two new consoles? The tv,s people have today can only display so much. If one could play on 4k tvs then maybe a difference could be seen. I have more interest in load times and the games each one has. Could care less if on can display more leaves on a tree. Bot...
Well a big corporation does listen to the customer. But at a loss of some features. Oh well at least I can download the games and not need a disk. I have found out trading in my games give very little in return. But loaning out games would be useful if I bought a disk instead. Short term gains but long term I wonder. But not requiring an internet connection to play is a good ideal at this time I agree. Looking forward to trying out the Xbox one and yes the Kinect too. Also the ps4 because of ...
I could care less about drm but not being able to play off line longer than 24 hours is one big bad decision. Granted online is always better but sometimes the internet is down or not available. Ms can fix this and I hope they will but who knows.
Oops meant ps4 sorry
Sony as an electronics company is losing money. So that makes me wonder if they are making money or losing on each console sale. Sony makes great hardware (still have the original ps3) and hope they succeed. Sony has great games and a good game console this time. But where is their future going to lead them when the game console customer base is shrinking. And just saying they have a new man in charge does not always turn things around. The one smart thing I have seen Sony do is charge for ps...
People love to believe the rumors they like but it does make sense. If you are banned from Xbox live how would your games be drm checked?
Mmmmm does everyone believe every rumor they hear? Just asking.
I have an easy solution, don't get banned but I agree it is a little extreme if it is followed threw.
Xbox one first I do like what they are doing (by the way I don't buy or sell used games so drm does not matter to me) then I will buy the ps4 for the great games they have shown. The Wii u does not appeal to me at this time
Funny how a point is made and labels come out when someone hears something they don't like. But be not afraid I will be buying both. And our favorite toys will keep selling.
The Xbox one will be successful but I do worry about Sony. Did everyone here know that Sony's electronic division is doing poorly and most of their profits come from other endeavors such as insurance and banking? The ps4 needs to make a profit and do well otherwise this might be the last one for them. Microsoft on the other hand has plenty of money and profits from other divisions that a loss in the Xbox division would be barely noticed. Having one console without Compton would be bad for...
Seems to me there is more innovation in the Xbox one. Multitasking, Kinect, Skype, using servers for expanded worlds and granted the use drm because of the complete downloading of games. Also a better online experience. Sony just improved a game machine that a 500 hundred dollar computer can match (that includes the Xbox one too). Both systems have great games so even there. Myself I will get both but this silly mine is bigger than yours is amusing. Just use the machine you like and enjoy the...
I don't think ms planned to win on price. I believe they kept the price higher for two reasons. One so as not to lose money on Xbox one and two to keep Xbox 360 alive for a few more years. Sony basically killed the ps3 by having a low price point for the ps4 and I wonder if they are losing money on each ps4. By the way Xbox one and ps4 are fine game machines and am getting both.
We get it you don't like Microsoft.
