The best games I played did not have the best graphics. If I care so much about that I would play on a pc. I care more about steady frame rates and fast load times. Also the os of the console is more important to me than pretty moving pictures. If the console has great games and operating system I will choose it. I do not care about the other much.
Both consoles are toys. But make millions of dollars. Wonder why Microsoft does not just buy Sony with pocket change for the insurance business. Lol couldn't resist. Most likely because lg and Samsung is kicking sonys ass lol But all kidding aside toys are us will advertise what will make them the most money or get rid of stock pick your choice.

I for one have not seen any games on either console better than the other. If one is 50percent stronger I would think it would be obvious. I see only kids arguing who's toy is better.
Then we should see games 50 Percent better at launch. Look 50 percent better and 50 percent better frame rates. For some reason I doubt this but we will see.
It will sell out in the beginning and if Kinect, operating system and tv integration works as well as Ms says then I will believe it will sell very well. Games are not the only reason people buy a console and both will have fun games to play.
I doubt 50 percent more power but all I see is ps4 will play games a little better and the Xbox one having a better os and apps and sound system. As to the eye and Kinect, the kinect will function better if you care for that. As to knowing everyone in your company or companies you work with I know I don't. Who cares if it was played on an Xbox one the main point is was the game fun. I don't buy a console for any other reason than entertainment value I could care less about the rest.
Bottom line if you have to compare them with TV's side by side the difference is moot. If the over all quality of the game is the same ie frame rate lack of bugs and same features who cares. I believe both consoles are worth buying and it should really only come down to games and choice of the console features.
I see all this bashing of Ms but I do believe Ms operating system for entertainment will be better. Never cared for Sony ui myself but it worked. Yes I will be buying the ps4 but I see nothing more myself than a more powerful ps3 which is fine. As long as good games come out on it I will be happy. Ms has the software skills, knowledge, money and desire to do the best.
That is good to hear. Am looking forward to some of the games that are only going to come out on the ps4. I love to play games and really could care less on which console it comes out on.
I have both the 360 and ps3. Never cared for the ps3 controller myself. Too small, light and never could get used to the sticks side by side. I hope the ps4 is a large improvement over the ps3. I plan to get the ps4 later on but if the controller is like the ps3 I will pass. Is the ps4 that great of an improvement over the ps3 controller?

If no one here has not figured it out yet ms is going to make sure they cover their strongest markets first. That is were the most money is. Smaller markets will be covered later. Sony looks to try to cover more but with far few consoles in each country. We will see which plan works better later this year.
The price of a little over one game is too much? Maybe you can't afford a console. Just buy a ps4 and be happy. It is a fine console too. Not everyone cares what you think. Or what a small group of so called gamers think. I will try it and judge myself and if is terrible I have only myself to blame.
I will be getting both myself. Ps4 for the games even if it is just a more powerful ps3. The Xbox one for games, apps on windows kernel, yes the tv functions, Skype, snap feature, Kinect, proven online service and a very quite machine. Bottom line though both will have excellent games and worth buying. Now since I did not trash the Xbox one come and get me Sony trolls and give me those disagrees lol
The main reason people buy consoles are the games. Both console are more than good enough to play games well. The console that has the games and features that people like will sell the most. One would think that those who enjoy games would agree with this. But when fanboys speak intelligents drops lol

I see extra circuits built in to reduce the work needed done by the cpu, gpu and memory. I also see software being matched with the hardware. Sony went with brute force Microsoft went with a more complicated design. I think it will all depend on the tools given to the game developer and money they have to work with more than the hardware.
