It has alot less to offer? Does your console of choice have Skype, kinect, very fast multitasking, apps that are designed on windows kernel, azure server support, tv hdmi pass through and of course games? Does it offend you so much that people may want more than a game machine?
That is true. But everyone forgets matching the software and hardware together doing what you wish always works better. Sony is going for games and everything second and Ms is going for games, apps, multitasking, Skype, Kinect and tv. What is the better choice is what you want the console for. Each person has different needs.

If you can afford to spend the money on a game machine most likely you will have an internet connection. The so called cloud at first will help with the small things freeing up the console resources. Over time it will get used to a greater extent as the cloud gets stronger and bandwidths improve. Remember when the first xbox had an Ethernet connections and many saw that as garbage now look what we have today.

If it runs cool and quite that is a far better hardware design than the xbox one. I have owned many sony products and have been very happy with the dependability and quality of their products. I hope I have the same experience with this one. Looking forward to finding out.

I find the Kinect interesting and will get it day one. As for NSA watching me well I look very sexy in my underware playing a game lol Who cares. NSA Is not interested in seeing kids or adults playing a game and if they are I better be paid for the entertainment. Never knew so many were this paranoid. If you are going that paranoid route the pc cam and phone is a better tool for that so through them away and go back into your cave. If you don't like the Kinect don't buy it.
Games on both consoles will look and play the same so most of this mine is better is rather pointless. I would prefer everyone raising hell on why ps4 and Xbox one consoles can't play online together on multi platform games. Would that be a much better deal for all?
Must have been written awhile ago. Games on both console are region free. Games are a personal taste. No one has used the hardware yet so no one knows yet. If you can't afford 500 I don't think 400 should be spent either. Besides you get more for your 500 if you like Kinect. This article was a waste of time.
I beg to disagree I have used the ps3 move and was not impressed same with the first Kinect. The demos on Kinect 2 does impress me. I doubt the ps4 eye with be much different that the first one. If you think there is going to be a massive difference in game play or graphics between the two you have bought on the hype. In 5 years time you will not see it unless you put two tvs together and study it real hard. If a hundred dollars is too much I suggest don't buy either. Food and shelter is more important.
