Both machines have more than enough power to play games. I begin to think 8 gigs of any type ram is more than needed. What he is saying hardware has reach the point that most people not into tech will not notice any difference in graphics between the two. But they will notice who provides the best service and most options and better value for their money. Only those into tech really care about what most are arguing about here. Only time will tell when everyone has their hands on the consoles ...
I for one am looking forward to trying it out. If I was that worried about the 100 extra I spend believe me I would not get into gaming. Buy only two games and you have spent well over that amount. As for spying I have zero worries. I always wear my anti spy underwear lol

You are talking people who do not have a clue. One thing I am wondering about is the bottle neck from the hard drive to apu. Seems to me there is such a thing as overkill. And another how long load times will be. 500 dollar video cards only have 4 gigs of ram and that works with in many cases a core I-7. I am beginning to think putting 8 gigs of ram in theses consoles is more for marketing than for actual use.
If a company does not care about profits it dies. This is a rather stupid argument and statement. If I was to buy into company it better make me money. And if Sony is losing money on each console I see a sinking ship.
I see nothing but good reviews on this game. Been awhile since I bought a new game. Looks like the wallet gets dusted off and opened.
They do make good hardware. But I see fewer Sony products and more lg and Samsung. They let themselves get passed up and having trouble catching up.
Funny if it was said by Sony everyone one would jump up and down saying it is true lol. Sony is going broke getting there butts kicked by lg and Samsung. By the amount of resources and money Sony has I doubt Sony will have a better server network but I am sure it will be good enough.

I agree if the Kinect works as well as we believe. I for one have high hopes that it will. And everyone forgets the Xbox one uses the widow kernel and hyper v which will allow multitasking and apps to be better. I for one will not talk bad about either console because I believe both are fine products in their own way. And will get both. To the fanboys on both sides kiss my (well you know what) I will enjoy all the games not just half of them. Lol

I remember when playing on line was free on the playstation now you have fees and rejoice. lol Also buying a vita adds what 300 dollars and that choice is cheaper? PS4 is a fine game machine but that is all it is for. I really doubt nsa thinks watching someone playing a game concerns national security. Cell phones, computers, everywhere you go there are cameras. Use a bank card there is a record of it. Any tickets or arrests there is a record. Need I go on? Get over it or hide in a cave. I really doubt anyone will be watching or care to playing a game on Kinect. Oh by the way you can still wear an aluminum hat to protect yourself from curious eyes. Lol

I enjoy using my 60 tv to play games on the couch with my friends. Try doing that with a computer. Neither 500 or 400 is allot now a days. People buy smart phones with expensive plans they do not need and tablets they get new every year. Hell with regular phone I spend twice that in a year.
They listen to their customers and realized they screwed up and changed their ways. Wish more companies were like that. But because others are willing to move on and give it a chance does not mean they are sheep. I and many others are interested in some of the other features of the Xbox one. In this your opinion does not matter. I also like the Sony product for the games and will get that too. Apparent to who? Most games today look good enough for most people. The average person buying the new hardware will not notice now or later. Both will look good enough today and 5 years down the road. I am not talking about techies but the average person buying it. It will be more than pretty pictures but the services and games each will have to offer that will sell it.
