Did not everyone complain also and laugh when the first Xbox had an Ethernet connection? Lol
The games are going to look and play the same. The main difference will be on how well the ui, apps, multitasking, entertainment and social functions work. The Xbox one is more designed for those functions. The ps4 looks to be easier for game developers to work on. Take your pick and be happy.

I think these paper specs in the end will mean nothing in game performance. Both machines will play great on a 1080p tv. What everyone else forgets one machine is built for more than games. And it is built by a company that has wrote code for the 86x cpu for many years. Apps, multitasking, downloading, social networking to name a few will run faster and better. I will get the Xbox one as my main machine and the ps4 for the first party games it will have.
I am looking forward to Kinect and all the features it provides. If it does as advertises it will be money well spent. No one here I bet has tried it so to say it sucks means that persons opinion really means nothing. Now when I have tried it and it does suck I will be the first one to agree.
The sony ps4 eye was rendered ineffective due to sony not including it with every console at launch to lower the price. So I would not call that innovation myself because it will most likely will be used poorly or no at all.
Everyone carries a cellphone nowadays, have cameras on their computers, everywhere you go to the mall, bank, work there are cameras and they worry about spying? lol For some reason some people believe that a government agency is interested in watching a kid playing on a game machine. lol Please pass the aluminum foil lol

As soon as we bought on the ideal of the electronic age we lost our privacy. Cellphones, computers, atm machines, credit cards to name a few. All things are logged and recorded somewhere. Too late to worry about it now. And a game toy is their biggest concern? Fanboy has gone to a new level.

Who cares? I for one don't. Never had the child like belief that the government would not spy on those it deems of interest. Get over it we all have very little privacy.

I like both consoles and will get both. But for some reason I do believe there are many 12 year olds on here claiming the xbox one is bad ps4 is the great savior of gaming. lol
Instead of judging before hand maybe waiting to see if they have something worth saying is better. I don't work at ms and I am sure you do not. Maybe it will be good or maybe not. But at gamescon we will find out.
Don't have a clue on how well the ps4 eye will work but since it is not included with the console it will be forgotten or at best an after thought. Sony dropping it was a mistake I believe and will regret it later. But they are 100 dollars cheaper right now lol
I was not impressed with the first Kinect that is why I did not buy it. Kinect 2 does grab my attention. I see great potential in it. For example playing a poker game on line and being able to see their heart rate and facial expressions to name just one. Not having to look for a remote and just using my voice. The list can go on. If it was not included in all systems it would be forgotten just like the ps4 eye will be.
With the internet speed today it is hard to see it helping much other that freeing up some resources. But as time goes improvements will come. Who knows in 5 years it might make a big difference. I remember when the internet was just a dream and look what we have today. I keep thinking some here are the same people who thought man should not and could not fly. I say let's see where this goes and quit saying it can't be done.
