@sayanara:
You have a bizarre, myopic perspective on history.
"Tax breaks to the rich have helped the american people ALMOST EVERYSINGLE TIME IT HAS OCCURED."
Your assertions don't make this so.
For being close to the bottom rung of the food chain, tea partiers certainly seem to have an incredible grasp for the cause and effects of history. The economy under Reagan rebounded due to its cyclical nature.
@syanara:
"explain to me how tax cuts for the rich hurt the country"
Deficit spending is paid for by debt...the very thing tea baggers rant and rave about. Deficit spending is created by insufficient revenue, i.e., uncollected taxes. Why is that so hard to understand?
btw, as someone who plunked down a cool mil for my pad, I have enough deductions that my high salary gets taxed at about 17%. Meanwhile, my tenants rent and pay in t...
By "race" card do you mean emails with photos of the first lady as a monkey, or do you mean emails with photos of the white house lawn sprouting watermelons?
Bloviate all you want. I realize my fellow white folks are acting racist because they hate a democrat (duly elected) as a president, and don't hate the president because they're racist. Doesn't mean the behavior is any less disgusting.
@ChristianGamer:
The disconnect is that he recommends a game that he rates 3/10. Why would anyone recommend a game that scores 3/10? Because it's cheap? Then it should be reviewed accordingly.
right. 3/10, "i recommend you go ahead and pick it up." what?
Demon's Souls.
Well, not really since it didn't have the impact of other games, but it was the best game I've played this decade.
@Cez of rage: the article says "The game according to the BBFC contains at least 1:10 of cinematics." I took that to mean they rated the length of the game to be about 700 minutes, or about 12 hrs. I'm conjecturing, though.
@Gamerreaction: If this is true, the review could have done a service to other beta users by comparing game performance with the beta. For example, I'd like to know if performance has been improved now that the game is live. I don't really need a review of the game, I need a comparison to the beta.
The DCUO beta is tons of fun and surprisingly addictive.
Honestly, I'm having a blast with the beta. It's pretty addictive. I'm playing as a speedster. My only peeve is climbing on the sides of objects in speed mode.
Anybody got this? Is there a delay between reactions, like in the arcade, or is it smoother and quicker than the arcade? I hope they didn't keep the delay (which was do to the laserdisc's seek and scan) just to replicate the experience.
well said. though i think the grating music that blares out of the speakers when you hover over it on the XMB is the opposite of DS's subtle atmospherics.
@RedDragan
"This is not the kind of evidence that turns up late."
You really don't know what you're talking about. Take it from a lawyer.
I liked the KZ2 campaign. Not sure why everyone bags on it. Hate seems to focus around barrels and warehouses, but the things that stand out in my mind are sets like the plaza outside of the palace, and the fight with commander ratec.
yes, i actually downloaded this. blame it on nostalgia. the music makes me want to murder. and if it's at the top of my game icons the music pops up fast in the background. loud and noisy.
the game is hard as hell, but not as satisfying as i remember.
Picked the full game up for $25. Worth it at that price. The game is a piece of cake and is over too fast, but Andy Serkis' voice acting and motion cap are awesome. And Pigsy is pretty entertaining.
I don't understand the penis comment.
There are 6 faces on a standard die.
If we're going by weight, he's actually 2 1/2 men. If we're going by ability to get it up without viagra, I'm guessing he's about a quarter to half a man.
I really enjoyed the beta...but I haven't played an MMO since Ultima Online.
