i hope microsoft doesn't pull the plug on this one too...even if it only works in developer mode.
even that is not much of a challenge since my squad increased just by doing the main missions and not destroying much. i cleared the whole map with about 11 squads left over and the average squad needed to clear a territory is 3...i really didn't like the squad sytem anyway, they tried to do it like metal gear 5 but it didn't pan out that way....hopefully they'll fix it for the dlc....
i finished the game without doing all the side quests, had no incentive to collect vehi...
although the game could use some refinements, I'm still having fun with it. i probably won't be buying any dlc for it until it's all released and on sale...that is if it's anything like the previous game's dlc....or better.
does this mean that next year every developer will incorporate some kind of battle royal in their games? OR add dances to their games? OR make their games cheaper (or free) and focus on a simple fun experience? ....will this battle royal craze die out like the angry birds craze, or the pokemon go craze? what happens when every developer implements this battle royal? well i'm guessing they will have to come up with creative ways to differentiate themselves from the rest which will be no ea...
time out, isn't rainslacker one of the ones that mock microsoft for providing the amount of players that actively play on xbox live on any given week or month instead of sales numbers but the same logic doesn't apply for soldya boy's console?? 🤔
played it, my anticipation for it has depleted. the game needs a lot of improvements. i don't think it will be ready by February.
well, not to defend soldya boy but even though he technically is ripping people off for selling his products for 3 -4 times as much, the reason he's doing it is because he can. a celebrity's branding carries a lot of weight. it's no different then when someone buys a baseball for $5 and gets it signed by a baseball player then that ball's value automatically increases tremendously....same goes for comic books, music instruments, etc....
now everyone in here ...
i think I'm going to take the plunge on hitman 2. i liked the demo of the 1st one and ive been hearing great things about this one.
i know that, but most people don't see it that way, that's why there are hundreds of homebrew mini consoles and handhelds being sold, some with games, some without (but they tell you how you can get them).
yes, Atom gets it....you speak of input lag as it exists TODAY, but if you follow the advancements of 5g bandwidth then you will realize that is becoming a non issue in many applications...i didn't say anything about owning games either. i'm talking about where we are and where we are headed...if a digital purchase means i can play my games without lugging around my console to every household then i will opt for the digital version....if i have a kid that tends to lose physical games ...
for all the talk about a discless console not working i'd venture to compare it to how many people still use netflix's disc option? (I'm still one of them and it's not benefitted me). how many subscribers would netflix lose if it reverted to pushing most of their content back to physical disks? exactly...more and more people with disc consoles are constantly claiming to buy digital games for convenience of not having to go to the store, stand in line, etc....
we...
....because the majority of people feel its's ok to download as long as you physically own the games.
even if they do drop the ball they STILL win?? just goes to show that sony can do no wrong in these people's eyes. sony can proclaim they use child labor and feed them bread and water to make their next playstation and people will say "well at least they are getting bread and water, which is probably hard for them to get." ...that's how you sony people sound....ridiculous.
as far as announcements go; all the studios microsoft acquired was a big deal to me going into 2019 and beyond...with more to come.
well i'm currently playing just cause 4 and this game seems to borrow from it's open world play style. down to the non linear mission completion and the sub missions scattered throughout the map as well as the stunt rings....yes i know all that existed since the 1st crackdown and you can say just cause borrowed from them since it came out later but the 1st crackdown didn't have it layed out like just cause does which is why this reminds me more of just cause 4....i think the vibra...
i almost bought celest after seeing the game awards. glad i held out. never played far cry 2 so I'll pick that one up. already have that tomb raider, not as good as the 1st but decent., although i played through it by myself...don't care for rally racing so I'll pass on that one.
Nintendo's lackluster paid online offerings...waited a year for it only to find that $20 is hardly worth it at this point...and they haven't even acknowledged that they are working towards making it better, leaving us with very little to look forward to.
they teased this course of action at e3 with the xcloud. they're trying to connect cell phones, any cell phone or tablet to xbox so that the games run on that xcloud and be streamed to any device....
it's a giant step forward in game streaming if they pull it off... just look at the major selling point of the switch being a portable console, take your home games on the go without the need of buying a lesser version of it as was common with portable gaming like game...
yep, it was on upn if i remember correctly...either way, alfonso is not struggling for money at all. i met him and he's a cool dude. "it's the principal of the whole thing." 😜
they can easily send an update to limit developer mode from enabling such practices if they feel it hinders people's experiences...but that's up to them.
