i always laugh when pc gamers/ Microsoft haters claim to be too smart for services and such and claim that they'd rather play their games on pc...all the while using a windows pc to do so. 😄 .... hypocrisy at it's finest indeed.🙄
wish they would bring that baseball game to the u.s....one of my all time favorite baseball games was their Bottom Of The 9th.
who's talking about gamepass? it doesn't matter how you end up playing it initially. right now the game seems to be lacking in some aspects so it stands to reason that they will improve it over time like they've done with other games. What i'm saying is that the initial people that do play it in the 1st week or 2 and are not impressed may not go back to it after a month or so whenever they release new content for it.
if the content is substantial enough to ...
well i haven't played 3 out of the 4 games offered and never got around to finishing edi academy so for me it's a pretty decent month and worth ut in my book.
i think this game will grow and evolve like sea of thieves has. unfortunately, 1st impressions means a lot and most likely people won't be interested after a month, even if they do end up improving the game over time.
well as a shareholder this is great news for me. as a now casual gamer I'm quite satisfied with the way things are. i don't need a brand new game every month to satisfy my needs. people talk like the only games that the xbox can play are microsoft games, as if there are no other games available.🙄....
so what if they are 3rd party games? how does that diminish the value of the xbox in any way?... speaking of which, Microsoft's recent hiring from nintendo ...
just goes to show that the n4g complain crowd is a small niche that does not reflect the majority of gamers....call of duty gets a lot of heat in here pretty much every year for various reasons and yet here they are sitting pretty on top of it all. i for one will never buy a call of duty game without a strong campaign, but i'm sure activision won't care until their sales drop drastically...which by the looks of it won't happen any time soon.
what tease? the titles are blurred out.
pretty decent month in my book. the jedi knight series is my favorite star wars series and i never did finish jedi academy so i may do so now...never played rogue so I'm willing to give it a try...and I'm a sucker for any metroidvania platformer (currently working through Hollow Night with Celest waiting in the wings) so Bloodstained is right up my ally.
just yesterday, i said in the other article about them starting over that i wouldn't buy a switch now...unless they release a compilation of the prime trilogy since i never played those and now, here we are...sure, it's a rumor, but if they're willing to start over that's because they had this up their sleeves...i suspect it will be announced at e3 during their nintendo direct and released in the fall with some extra stuff.
@Cd1... you seem to conveniently forget that sony took out the backwards compatibility option from the ps3 because according to them, people aren't interested in playing old games on new consoles....and i remember quite well a good portion of their consumers praising the decision because it would bring the price down. all the while telling the angry crowd not to trade or sell their ps2's if they want to play their old games...the nerve. 🙄 ....
at the end of...
well i was holding out on getting a switch just for this game. it looks like I'll be getting it later than expected, UNLESS they announce a metroid prime compilation to compensate since i never played those games. oh well, i gope it doesn't take them 2 more yrs to finish since the next consoles from the other guys will just be entering the market and the switch won't look as appealing by then.
I'd say it's more hypocrisy than spin.
or, you can save your constant grinding and time and just go to cdkeys. ive gotten a month of game pass there for $1.50 ...i bought several and gave away a few codes to friends for Christmas...granted that was a sale they had, which happens every so often...on average i get game pass from there for less than $5 usually....i'd say it beats wasting time grinding for points just to get a free month.
the one game that made me hate it the most was final fantasy 7 with it's random encounters that you couldn't even see on screen and couldn't opt out of. not to mention the long drawn out 5 minute spells that you had to sit through. i wanted to fling that game against the wall but i just said it would be my 1st and last time i will ever play a final fantasy game.
i bought the last south park game cause I'm a big south park fan but a half gour in and i was already bored with the turn base fighting. i set it down and have yet to pick it up again. i want to force myself to like it thinking I'll get used to it but i haven't reached the level needed to do so....
oddly enough, the last turn based game i actually enjoyed (but never finished) is super mario rpg....action rpg's like zelda i have no problems playing.
i agree, but it's short lived...(at least for me)... through emulation on an old xbox, i have all those games and although initially i was psyched to have them playing on an xbox, my excitement lasted less than a week as the nostalgia wore off and gave me a "been there-done that" attitude about it...however, oddly enough i get more psyched about the advancements of emulators, or being able to play those old games on something as small and convenient as an amazon fire stick.
...and yet the only one that is seen with any merit is Forbes magazine? (a financial magazine!)🙄... the same magazine that the minute they trash anything playstation people come out of the woodworks saying "forbes magazine...what do they know about games?" 🙄
