i think the disagrees come from him saying you get 4 free ganes a month with gamepass...gamepass is seperate from the gold subscription. there is no set limit to gow many games get added (or taken out) from gamepass. they can add 2 or 5 which they have done several times already.
I've been hearing great things about this game and it's definitely a game i will pick up during the upcoming black friday sales....long single player metroid-vania style is right up my alley.

well that's the way YOU want to see it but being able to play a $60 game the day of release along with a variety of a bunch of other games that you may or may not have played is indeed a great value, especially during Christmas time when a lot of people will opt to giving gamepass codes as gifts instead of buying 1 $60 game for some kid.....

no, that's NOT how they get you. if you buy a month that's all you get is a month. they email you letting you know it's about to run out and offer you another deal like 3 months for $10 in case you want to renew. otherwise, it just ends.
they have these deals all the time. i think I've taken them up on these deals about 3 or 4 times this year...I'm not complaining....I'm sure they will get a surge of subscribers when they announce the added games at XO tomorrow.

yeah really, a lot of people complain that all they want is games as if they tend to play all day every day and get payed for it. 🙄.... i know some people take pride in playing games all day long but as an older casual gamer like myself that doesn't have the kind of time i used to dedicate to gaming, I'm quite satisfied with the amount of games that are getting put out. regardless whether it's 1st or 3rd party....but that's just me.
i remember being excited for this game. now, not so much. at this point they might as well save it for the next xbox.
I'm expecting a $50 price cut across the board. new elite controller, new studio acquisitions, and xcloud details, aside from new trailers of upcoming games and new gamepass games being added and more original xbox games being backwards compatible.
no switch....not to mention I've never played a smash brothers game in my life....the only game that would make me want to buy a switch is metroid.
i wouldn't worry too much about it. every store likes to try to out do the other either with better sales or price matches....if you don't have walmart then check best buy or amazon for similar deals the week of black Friday.
this will be the one game that will pull me away from red dead 2 for a good month or 2 at least....after this game there really isn't anything else I'm looking forward to until next summer.
i don't have a switch but i thought it had a web browser anyway so are you not able to access youtube, netflix and everything else with it? i know a dedicated app is more convenient but at the end of the day you just want to watch what you're looking for and with a browser in place you can...can't you?
