my sentiments exactly. i will always buy an xbox as long as it remains cheaper than a gaming pc which i do not have and by the looks of it, never will....i like the simplicity of plug and play without having to tweak settings or deal with viruses or malware....

this is the only reason i haven't bought a switch yet....if they're smart they'll release metroid compilations throughout the year leading up to metroid prime 4...i haven't played a metroid game since super metroid so compilations would make me get a switch sooner rather than later.
why don't they drop the price on the Elite controller as well? I'm willing to bet they would sell a heck of a lot more if they did....i think $80 for the elite would be the sweet spot.

no, they said it CAN run vr just fine if they wanted to implement vr into it. at this late in the game, why would they put their efforts into it instead of the next xbox? the only reason vr has had a surge these last few months is simply because of the massive price drops across the board on pc and on playstation.because it just wasn't selling enough at 5-$600 when they came out...not to mention that a lot of people find it cumbersome with all the extra wiring across the floor. personally...

why even bother calling it a console? it's a straight up pc. it won't even compete with consoles if the specs are to be believed. most likely priced at over $800 which most people in the console market won't even look at.

did you rent the XL version if not then you're missing out on some cool vehicles and missions. i got it on sale for 12 bucks last year and it was worth it. as it stands, you would probably have more fun and get more replay out of 3 than 4 at the moment.

Exactly, i keep saying this, yet every time a game is hated on n4g the people in here automatically label it as a flop and not looking at the actual numbers....just because a game doesn't sell a million copies in it's 1st week compared to the heavy hitters doesn't mean it flopped.
celest's pixelated look put me off (main reason why i refuse to give minecraft a try) but i keep hearing great things about it in terms of overall game design and a story i can relate to so now i'm looking forward to it.
not for $45...i'd wait til it goes down to at least $25... if they release an XL version for $45 then yes... you would get more replay value out of just cause 3 XL at about $15 or less these days.
i think they made enough money over the years to be on their own. if they were to partner again then they would have to split their profits. not to mention they wouldn't have to conform their games to how any given publisher wants...at the very least try being independent for a few DIFFERENT games and see how they turn out before considering getting a partner or bought out again.
