Well, damn Sony. As if Twisted Metal, The Last Guardian, Starhawk and Sly 4 weren't enough already. You spoil your user base rotten. I'm just baffled as to how on earth God of War IV will work. Who will be the main character? What mythology will they go after?
I'd say, at least in the UK, Final Fantasy XIII-2 does. I have both games pre-ordered. Got Final Fantasy XIII-2 Crystal Edition Pre-ordered at GAME and of course, many of you know that it has one of the best contents in a collectors edition in recent years. But GAME is also offering a nice steelbook case, and DLC for Omega as a boss/monster, as well as DLC for Noel and Serah's costumes. So I think that's the better deal
Soul Calibur V I have pre-ordered at Shopto ...
As much as your trolling of anything Nintendo irritates me to no end, I couldn't agree more. Software is the main reason why Sony systems will always have my support.
PS Vita...day one.
I'm not sure how you deduced that from 3 extremely low res images but hey, what do I know. Let me also take this time to point at that that's not even possible.
Oh boy.
Dat ass.
This.
What dilemma? Vita is a day one purchase. Come at me.
The problem is that Microsoft have the franchises. Blinx, Kameo, Perfect Dark, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Killer Instinct, PGR...I could go on. But they're doing f*ck all with them and only rinsing and repeating their 4 best selling franchises. Hell even Nintendo is supporting new IP's with the development of Xenoblade and publishing of The Last Story...and I can bet we'll see even more with the Wii-U.
I know everyone wants money, hell Sony and Nintendo do too, bu...
Wut? How is this fool not banned?
No it's not. It's got more horsepower than any smartphone on the market and is yet the price is 3x less even though Smartphones barely do much more than PS Vita.
What baffles me is that people who supposedly live in the UK forget how high our taxes and VAT is. The pricing is out of Sony's control. If they want to make money in this country they need to account for the high import taxes etc. They're not Apple and they don't have bottomless pockets.
...
Gran Turismo 6....believe
So is XIV an unlucky number too?
This ain't CoD son.
Your logic fails miserably. The fact that Sony are making a loss on each Vita sold is proof that relative to the full manufacturing cost on Vita's BOM, the Vita is being sold for less than what it costs to build.
PlayStation Vita's internals are 2011 technology, much more advanced or at least on par with the high end smartphones on the market now. As such for £230, it's an absolute steal. I really hate when people who know f*ck all about technology works comm...
The demos visuals amazed me. To think that the 3DS was pushing those visuals. Of course, because of the 3DS' low res screen and 3D, the overall polish lacked ever so slightly but it was still great, a day one for me.
I think that's where Vita will have the advantage and I'd love to see what Revelations would look like on the system. More horse power and a beautiful OLED screen. Would do wonders for this game. Handheld gaming ain't going anywhere.
So I went on Zavvi, because it seems to be the only place thus far that actually has the limited edition SKU up for pre-order. Then I say the £90 price tag and almost threw up on my keyboard. I pray to jesus that that's only a placeholder. As nice as the LE is, It's not worth £90. I've seen Limited Editions for half the price yet contain twice the content.
Unless your name is 3DS, Monster Hunter Tri-G, Mario Kart 7 or Super Mario 3D Land, don't expect to sell well in Japan at the moment. It's unfortunate but those 3 games, and the 3DS are just dominating and have been for a over a month now. Once Japan tires of buying those games I'm sure Vita sales will pick up.
If anything I just think Sony needs to deliver that killer app to Japan. It's just a case of getting the software out there. I'm really hoping Tale...
I didn't know the actual cost of getting the Vita units manufactured and shipped was free...../sarcasm
They're making a loss. End of story. No doubt its small but they're making a loss. I think PS Vita will be profitable half way through the year as off the shelf smartphone/tablet components devalue at a wholesale level quickly due to how fast the market evolves. That $160 merely covers the cost of materials. You need to also take into account the cost of actually...
