Vita's problem in Japan is simple. Sony launched it with no killer apps that appealed to the Japanese market. Usually this is ok, but when your competitor is half the price of your system, and has 3 HUGE mainstream titles coming within the same two weeks (Monster Hunter 3G, Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7), it's going to cause problems.
Did they not say, many times, that you won't hear about Wii U for a while. 2012 has just started. Calm down and give them a rest. Jesus christ.

You do actually notice that the majority of hate articles, save for sensationalist gaming sites like IGN and Kotaku, are the ones that are not only the quickest to jump on Sony when things go slightly wrong, but any game or game hardware out there.
Nah they have no stores open. Though that may change because I don't like how Gamestation and GAME dominate the high street with their filthy prices. HMV too. I'm gonna keep my Pre-order with Shopto. Most games this year I've got 1-2 days early and they got my 3DS to me a day before launch as well.

I'm at a lost for words that he would even compare the game to Street Fighter. They're nothing a like. By his logic all fighting games are a poor mans Street Fighter. I'd argue that SC has higher production values anyway.
OT: Resident Evil Revelations is my January game. Plus I haven't started Assassins Creed Revelations or Xenoblade yet. SC 5 and FFXIII-2 aren't out in Europe until February 3rd.

You know, they aren't as expensive as people are making out. I pre-ordered a 16GB Memory Card from Shopto.net for £39.99 yesterday. You can pick up the 4GB card there for a mere £16. They're cheaper than the PSP Memory Stick Duo's were when they came out. I remember having to pay in excess of about £35 for a 256MB stick.
The memory cards aren't even expensive. £16 for a 4GB Memory card on Shopto.net . £39 for a 16GB Memory Card. Think back to 2004 when the PSP came out, a 256MB Memory Card cost about £40.
Loads of games. 2012 is looking better than 2011 already. I would say my most anticipated titles are Street Fighter x Tekken, Resident Evil Revelations, Ni no Kuni, Tales of Graces F, The Last of Us, Naruto Ultimate Storm Generations and although they're not games, I can't wait for PS Vita and Wii U. New hardware is always nice.
Wada. The management at Square Enix is piss poor. The structure just isn't there. You have about 20 different projects going on at once with products and key people skipping to and from about 3 different games, it gets messy. The creativity is still there. You could see it trying to creep through in FFXIII, ever so slightly, but there is no unified force in SE to churn out blockbusters. They lack focus. Wada needs to be fired, and the development structure needs to be changed.

I stopped reading at the 'Overpriced' bit. Hate to sound like a dick, but only broke people repeat that god awful argument. Relative to what you're getting, which is a device that's more powerful that the latest smartphones, it's not over priced at all.

But last generation was better quality wise. The quality was higher as was the creative integrity of a lot of studio's.

Digimon had the better anime in my opinion. When the 3rd generation Pokemon anime started the series went to shit. Same with the 4th Generation Digimon Series though to be honest. Pokemon had the better games but if anyone remembers playing Digimon World on PS1 as a kid, they'll agree with me that Bandai missed a huge opportunity with that one.
