This person, hasn't but a clue what he's talking about. No doubt Tales of Symphonia is his first and only Tales game.
Fighting games don't need to innovate because lets be honest, a year down the line the only people who are still gonna be playing it are the fighting game fans and veterans. Innovation or not, casual fighting game players aren't in it for the long term so why 'innovate'?
And fighting games require no skill? I'm all for opinions and all, but thats ridiculous. Do yourselves a favour (and us) and gtfo.
@Decrypt. Get out of here with that awful argument. 'Console gamers' as in the ones that are into the core experiences, aren't the ones buying the Wii's genius. It's the casual market. You chat the most sh*t I've ever seen.
Majority of console gamers bar a handful like myself who own all 3, either play 360 or PS3 or sometimes both. Wii doesn't even come into the equation. You clearly know nothing about console gaming and you're clearly trolling...
I have it on Xbox 360, but seeing as I'm more of a PS3 player, I urge my fellow PS3 players to just boycott Bethesda's games because this is a disgrace. It's been 6 years since Oblivion. Have they not learned?
The next generation is coming. Believe.
They keep doing this. I pre-ordered FFXIV on PS3 for £7 and they cancelled it. I then pre-ordered a 16GB Vita Memory card for £16.99 and they cancelled it. They need to either honor these misprices OR, fire whoever keeps doing them.
Yahoo - Resident Apple Fanboys of the Internet. Nuff said.
Yeah it was. I'm shocked to hear it's still in existence. This is more vapourware than FF Versus XIII even. Not one bit of gameplay has ever been shown.
@remanutd55, I believe it was and you can see it happening between PS Vita and PS3. Expect them to go even further with it as Smartphones, Tablets and TV's improve over the next couple of years. Unified ecosystems are the best way to keep customers attached to your brand. It's working wonders for Apple.
Cheaper price and you can do everything the 3G version does if your smartphone supports tethering
Just booted up the PS3 to play Dark Souls and noticed that. Didn't even know it was coming to the UK
The game got a 40/40 in Famitsu. I'm certain it's going to be a great game. Problem is that Final Fantasy XIII-2 damaged the brand far too much and to boot, Square Enix has churned out a sequel before even finishing Versus XIII which is an utter disgrace. Which leads me to believe this has resulted in a consumer backlash in Japan.
What is the point of this article? Gives us nothing we didn't know 7 months ago.
Typical Yoshida answer lol Which translates to, yet we are working on PS4. And expect a reveal this year.
I think that Sony need to announce it this year if Microsoft is announcing 720, and Nintendo is releasing Wii U. They can't afford to launch late like they did this generation. The Playstation Brand alone won't carry the system like it did this generation because Microsoft and the Xbox brand are 100x stronger than they were last generation.
If Sony plays their cards correctly, they could really do damage to Microsoft on a gaming front, similar to how Microsoft did ser...
I see somehow the Wii trolls have come out of their bush. Lets be real here, the Wii has far superior games to Kinect and Move. The offerings those two peripherals offer are atrocious and it's clear that the only reason they're on the market today is because Sony and Microsoft wanted some of what Nintendo was getting.
Wii has:
Zelda Twilight Princess
The Last Story
Zelda Skyward Sword
Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2
Xenoblad...
Already have Tales of the Abyss as I like in the UK. In fact I'm about to play it now. Looking forward to Resident Evil Revelations, Kid Icarus Uprising, Luigi's Mansion 2, and Super Paper Mario 3D. We get One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP here on February 10th which'll be really nice. I'm really looking forward to what Nintendo showcase for 3DS at E3 though.
Same here. I have it pre-ordered with my Wi-Fi model along with Uncharted, Katamari and Marvel vs. Capcom. Played the Rayman Origins demo on PS3 and thought lord have mercy, this'll look lush on dat OLED. So I decided to wait.
I think Square Enix need to stop taking inspiration from Western games and start looking to their back catalog of great RPG for inspiration. Remember FFXIII....they said Call of Duty was a big influence on them and we know how that turned out (corridorgameplay.com)
I did my bit and bought Tales of the Abyss 3D as soon as it released here in the UK. Will do the same for Graces F. In fact, I did the same for Tales of Eternia which was released for PSP over here in 2006. Not many people remember the localisation because it only came out in Europe, and surprisingly, Ubisoft was the publisher.
