It's easy to dismiss the price and rerelease as companies being money hungry, but we don't know the amount of work that went into remastering The Last of Us for the PS4. We know the visuals are getting an upgrade, but what about the companion and enemy AI? If those get improved, then that means a lot of work went into fixing these things.
And why can't they target newcomers? There are a ton of people switching over from the Xbox 360 to the PS4 who have heard ma...
I hope they also add elements of Rust.
Regardless of our disinterest in the Kinect, it did sell well.
The only thing that will not only drive sales, but sustain them is a price cut. Microsoft needs to bite the bullet and sell the Xbox One at the same price as the PS4 as soon as possible.
But, that is not likely to happen.
@mohuzas: Ah.
Finally. A WiiU title that makes me say, "I want that."
X?
This actually makes sense. What new IP has Nintendo created lately? Pikmin is the only thing that comes to mind.
576p.
@Studio-YaMi: Enix changed their release schedules for Dragon Quest to Saturday or Sunday because of numerous complaints of kids not attending school or people calling in sick for work whenever a new game was released. Final Fantasy, while popular, did not create this kind of fervor in Japan.
Famitsu, while still a popular Japanese gaming magazine, has had it's integrity questioned numerous times for selling out.
@TomahawkX: Yes, it is. But the 2 3rd pa...
Final Fantasy is actually more popular in the West than in Japan. If you had said Dragon Quest...
@rdgneoz3: While there were valid complaints with GTA Online when it launched, it was nowhere near as bad as the uproar there was with Bf4.
I still remember her work on Soul Reaver. Best of luck, wherever you land, Amy Hennig!
Yes, this community is mostly a Playstation centric crowd, but to say it was an attack instigated by Sony fans reeks of the same ignorance you are ranting against.
Hmm...sounds like it would work if it was multiplayer only.
Yeah, the issue with CoD has never been the graphics. It's the kitchen sink treatment the multiplayer gets.
The reason the first Modern Warfare is still revered is because of it's simplicity. You didn't have 50 different guns or 100 different attachments or 30 different killstreaks/deathstreaks.
I'm not saying it was a perfect game by any stretch, but the idea that they have to add more and more and more has watered down the franchise.
As ludicrous as it sounds, it has happened in real life: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/...
But, remember, this is a high octane fps. CoD lost any semblance of immersion for me when Soap was able to survive getting shot, stabbed and being in critical condition all while getting bombarded by an army and an attack helicopter.
Or repeatedly c4 the same wall over and over and over again.
The correct term is lighting bolts.
And to think I just bought my copy yesterday. SMH
