There is no need to be concerned with that IMHO because of what the PS3 (and Devs like Naughty Dog) has shown us already with titles like God of War 3, Uncharted Series, GT5 and so on, and so on, that are absolutely unmatched on consoles this gen.
He's a mod that actually posts fair comments for most any topics.
I disagree. You can almost certainly count on a price cut this holiday season specifically because of the WiiU alone.
100% Agree.
If you do then "gaming" is something you should "Grow up" from and stop doing. Not that it's bad...but if you feel ANYTHING is "wasting your time" then you should not do it.
I have been gaming for MANY years...more so than some would see "fit" for anyone (let alone an adult). Yet I don't care who has to say what about it. I'm happy; I have fun; and that is all that matters.
Happi...
There is no way that the 360 hitting saturation is going to affect the PS3 in a negative way. Plus MS has already expanded into the casual market because they had nothing else left!
Also when Sony's financials come out in the next couple of months you will see they did just that as they are right on track of hitting the 15 Million mark sold this fiscal year. If that's not "big" then (as usual) it's just certain types of people trying to play down Sony...
The PS3 will get another price drop later this year to hit the start of it's optimal price point @ $199. When it does, certain people are going have to come up with some pretty elaborate explanations (lies) to make themselves feel better around here.
If the Vita has solid games (which we all know it will) and isn't affected by piracy (at least right away) it could get the start it needs to make it's mark and grow. But we'll see...
As for the PS3 I wonder what is going to happen (or what certain people will try to say/excuse) when the 360 has reached it's saturation point in the US, along with the PS3 hitting its optimal price point, while on top of that STILL getting/making great exclusive titles...you kno...
U R Not (Red) "E"
Actually you are both right!
Early on when the PS1 (not the PS2 or it's later DVR Japanese model) was launched here in the US, it was unofficially referred to as the PSX. I remember it quite well (as I was working for FuncoLand in the Bronx back then) when it was about to be released...here is some info/proof that shows it has merit
From the Wiki ~ http://en.wikipedia.org/...
Your so called "point" is based of things you can't possibly prove because it is so "broad" that it has no base in reality. THAT is what is wrong about it. You focus on what YOU think is the truth when you can't possibly know (let alone prove it)...thus with just my own & Angrymorgans posts it shows you are completely wrong, because there are people who post about the situation in it's truest & clearest form.
MS doesn't really care ...
Completely agree Angrymorgan. As for the original short sighted comment ~
What about those who have an Xbox, tried the Kinect and STILL chose a PS3 over it because of the horribly casual shovelware that it's ONLY capable of doing (Kinect) along with the lack of support with REAL exclusive first party titles (Xbox)?
You try to rely on some BS excuse that the people who are "disagreeing" and "don't like the Xbox" don't have neith...
I'm gonna save/use that one LNDCalling. Agree & Well Said!
Goes to show how biased and uninformed you are because the PS3 has been doing 4D since day 1 with Motorstorm. See 4D is a reference to time and how it comes INTO play within a game, not a dimension.
So using Motorstorm as an example when you play on a muddy track you leave tracks in the road and as you come back around it is still there but as you go over the same tracks again you make them deeper and the road more destroyed with the added factor of other racers adding to it ...
What is so damned hard for people to understand that a UPC can be tracked. Want simple proof without even a link? Easy ~
Say you bought a PS3 on launch day and it happened to have a hardware problem within the warranty period. When you call Sony up to get it repaired/replaced they look up the serial which is tied to the UPC of where it was sold and BAM! Sony knows EXACTLY where your PS3 came from along with WHEN it was sold to confirm if the item is within the warranty period...
And who do you think would be the first pioneer to offer something like that? ;)
@ Why o why ~ That has to be one of the most rational and concisely spoken comments I have every read on here. Very Well Said man. Bubs & Agree!
Noticeably_FAT said ~
"all those people claiming to purchase Sony exclusives day one are liars."
Oh Really? Hold that thought for one sec while I type this next bit out ~
Noticeably_FAT said ~
"I'd personally say the Sony games sell pretty good, but they don't have that 8-10 million seller that is Halo."
Bzzzt wrong try again DA! GT5 has sold over 8 Million and STILL selling. So I ask this ~ Now who...
Exactly PirateThom. +Agree & +Well Said
Certain types of "gamers" will talk all this $#@!, but when it boils down to it ~ they never seem to attempt to dispute/discuss (more like argue) those little facts of which you just said.
I know exactly what you mean. +
@ cchum & Yoda ~ Exactly. The same when MS said HDMI wasn't needed, or WiFi, a Hard Drive, Large Disc Space and so on and so on. There is more than enough proof out there (that everyone knows is true) that shows this is exactly MS' style.
