No we shouldn't. We should expect nothing less than a a game being accurate and responsive...not giving excuses for something that shouldn't be there in the first place.
Adjusting to something like "weight" in a game would be a perfect example of not complaining and learning how to acclimate to a new game mechanic, but a delay in input is not something to be brushed off as simply as "just adapt".
Accuracy/Responsiveness in a game t...
It's more complicated than just it "sucked" (for those mature enough to do so). I believe it really depends on how good/sensitive of a gamer you are.
Personally I noticed it right away (just like I did with KZ2) and am trying to get through it until the patch releases to address it...BUT it's definitely detracting from the experience because the timing IS off.
Not KZ2 bad (which I couldn't complete because of said issue) but enough to ...
I noticed the issue right away...just like I did with Killzone 2. I posted about it & got called out as anti-PS3 (which is complete BS check my post history for complete confirmation) and then about a year later Guerrilla Games admitted/confirmed the issue ~

I have reported it, posted in the forums about it and submitted a ticket as well...it should be taken care of quickly (this happened a few days ago too with UC3 and was fixed pretty fast).
***POSSIBLE SPOILER FOR UNCHARTED 3 POSTED BY Ps3thebest BELOW***
Agree & Well Said Morganfell & Kleptic.
What certain types of like minded people here love to constantly claim is that there is a "conspiracy by PS3 fan...s" yada yada yada, but what they always fail to see (let alone admit to talk about) is the proof and supported facts to uphold the QUESTIONING of these media sites to begin with as to WHY there are inconsistencies.
Here is just one example of IGN's BS by scoring (or attempting to score...
Reading comprehension ~ Look into it...what he said is correct.
Simply put for the simple minded - If the average of a game is 95% than a 70 or even 80% is "below average".
It's really not that hard to understand. And is completely valid when you look at the whole picture CORRECTLY.
I used to rock people with the Glock on 3 shot burst all the time...damn I miss playin' CS FY (and similar) maps!
Sorry but I have to disagree again since your "big picture" is not including other factors (thus not exactly a balanced angle IMO), as how can you specifically say "the PS3's GPU is a fail" when the PS3 was never made to be programmed/used/like or comparable to a standard everyday run of the mill PC ~ where you have a processor doing it's specific things that are separate from the GPU with ram tying them together etc.
The PS3 was made differently t...
You say ~
"It is easy to look at that from a one sided perspective, and claim that there is no evidence that other console has had better visuals than a few PS3 exclusives. That sole claim does have some substance i will not dispute this.
HOWEVER this misses several extremely important points if you take a balanced viewpoint....
For example Killzone 2 and 3 are probably unrivalled in terms of visuals for FPS on PS3. However i question wh...
Funny how those that speak of "deficiencies" can't provide a single game (after 5+ years & STILL going) on a competitors console that rivals the graphics, capabilities, scale & environments of the PS3's top exclusive titles.
So you can try and boast your OPINIONS to those who wear the same biased blinders, but the plain old fact that you can't change is this ~ you can't provide 1 single game that proves your OPINION correct...whereas there ar...
Exactly, yet certain types of "gamers" complain about how the PS3 does it differently and this situation shows how it's not that big of a deal since it doesn't interfere with your gaming or progress at all.
Michael is you, us, every gamer. Clearly explains a lot of your comment history when you admit you don't have a PS3...
Agreed/Same here, and if I wait a little while it will go on sale...or I can get it already discounted via PS+ and get to pick and choose what I really want for an over all lower amount since I don't have to get the "full" pack with stuff I don't care for.
So let me ask you something timotim ~ since as you say "the GT Series started BEFORE the Halo series" you say you can't compare them...Right? So then is your view about the 360 starting before the PS3 the same?
Either way, you're damned if you do or damned if you don't, because on the one hand your statement would tend to lean towards it's not right to compare them because of the head start of the 360 but on the other hand the PS3 has caught up to, a...
@ StraightPath ~ I'm not trying to start anything, but I just wanted to point out that you used full game Forza's that were available on Consoles (Xbox & 360) while for GT you used 2 that were precursors to actual full games, 1 portable title and only 2 of the 5 full games that were on consoles. So just to clarify ~
GT ~ 96% Metacritic
GT2 ~ 93% Metacritic
GT3 ~ 95% Metacritic
GT4 ~ 89% Metacritic
GT5 ~ 84% Metacritic
Question ~
"how comes XBOX 360 has more sold over all"
Answer ~
The Xbox 360 had a 1 year head start in the US and about a 1.5 year start in the EU...but as Optical_Matrix stated it is proven & documented that the PS3 consistently has out sold the 360 year over year. Just taking 2010 as an example the PS3 outsold the 360 by over 3.1 Million and that's not exactly a "close call" per se.
Side Point ~
Which is ...
About a year ago a rep from ND was at my GF's College for an orientation/scouting event and was asked a few questions by the students/perspective hiree's about UC3. The rep answered that Move compatibility was in development for it at that time...now I am not saying this is 100% concrete evidence or confirmation, but this should be expected as a patch later on (at least) I would assume.
The point isn't that your choice is (or isn't) based upon a review but that the review has been done properly, and I can't see how something that hasn't been played fully can have a full review on it.
Do/should teachers go over a portion of a test and grade all of it on a 20% completion rate? Or how about a review of an orchestra playing a newly found never heard before Mozart piece? Would that be right? Obviously not in either case and nor should a paid revie...
The PS3 has outsold the 360 just about every year since it launched, and not by a small margin either (which is why it's only a couple million behind in World Wide overall LTD sales). your thinking is limited to relying on "but in the US"....
No matter what you believe, the facts are when the 360 gets a price cut it gets a surge...then slows quickly and heavily, whereas when the PS3 gets a price cut it surges and then sustains a healthy amount of sales which hel...
