I think everyone is missing something that is staring all of us in the face. Sony has a history of releasing their consoles on dates that mean something (usually to themselves more than consumers)...so I'm gonna take a guess and say 11/12/13 which is a Tuesday when games usually release.

@Dmarc ~ Sony has already said you only need 1 PS+ account on your PS4 and ALL other accounts on that system will be able to play online multiplayer for free on top of being able to use that PS+ on/with your PS3 & PSVita. Additionally you DO NOT need PS+ on your PS4 to be able to use things like Netflix, Hulu+, Facebook etc. as it is currently on PS3/PSV.

If a game doesn't require the need/use of a touch pad ~ i.e. like a fighting game that uses a stick ~ they almost positively will work.

I am sure they will, as Sony's history has not only shown ~ but proven ~ to us time and time again that they have no problems supporting previous gen peripherals on their new gen hardware. Plus it's safe to assume that since the PS4 has USB & Bluetooth that they would be compatible.
