Looking forward to this one.
yeah, it does. The likelihood of someone buying gears of war TWICE is much lower than for someone to buy both the PS3 and portable versions of LBP. It is easy to imagine that someone might like to play LBP at home with the PS3 version, and LBP portable when they are travelling. You can't say the same for Gears of War.
So, do you sound silly now?
Ridiculous. Sequels can't be great exclusives? Gears of War 2 wasn't great? Halo 3 wasn't great? That list you gave is a GREAT list of exclusives. Now YOU are advocating "two wrongs make it right".
The real double standard is in 360 being allowed to have exclusives, while the PS3 not. When it came time for the PS3 to have the advantage, this website declares that exclusives are not important anymore.
It is sad.
@baseballfan no, it wasn't a typo...
Exactly, it would have been so easy to plug it in and boot it up. The fact that he didn't do it, after he had already been invited into the apartment, is a little suspicious. It would have been nice to at least see the power LED light up, and to see it swallow and eject discs (even CD, for that matter). The mechanism would have been hard to reproduce on imitation products.
No, you get over yourself.
I never said it was wrong to point out the advantage of having more exclusives.
Two rights SHOULD make two rights. Not the latter right wrong. You get me?
wrong post
Certainly, the enhancements are there for xbox live. The thing is, people who already own a gaming PC (but not a 360) will not find enough incentive to buy a 360 for the game he can already play on his PC. Furthermore, the benefits of higher specifications sometimes negate the advantages of live. The *need* for a 360 is not there, in response to the article.
LOLOL
errr, why didn't he just hook it up? Maybe Polystation 3 will come up on the screen.
Glad they cleared it up before certain people decided to run with it.
Must not give Sony a point, ever.
That is the feeling that I get from a lot of articles.
Exclusivity certainly was an issue before, when the PS3 was said to have no games. Now that the situation is arguably in reverse, "exclusivity" suddenly becomes unimportant?
Isn't it all about games in the end? If you were limited to one console choice, you would want to know which console gives you more quality exclusives. Wasn't it the exact same f...
Thanks for your lovely comment! As I am on a different timezone, I was afraid that I've been speaking to myself mostly.
Nevertheless, it needs to be a collective effort to at least present the other side of the coin that is often missed (because of sensationalism and bias).
I can't help but see the article as online bullying (whether or not it is effective against the *subject* ).
In the face of recent PR tendencies from the three companies, it would seem that Sony is least deserving of this atrocious article.
Can't find any fault in that comment.
Looking great. The contrasted lighting and shadows in the first couple of screenshots make for a great atmosphere.
Wow, double exclamation too.
Why not wait till the actual results are out? It is just ridiculous that Destructoid is using an analyst prediction to form a conclusion.
An assumption that multiplatforms perform better were the very basis for the analyst's numbers. Somehow destructoid managed to use those same numbers to "deduce" that multiplatforms perform better. Do you see the idiocy in that?
In other words, it is like saying "Multiplatforms perform better, because I think mul...
If anyone is still reading,
As a gamer, look at the PS3 for the quality of its games. Sales are very much secondary to that.
