I couldn't agree more :)
You do make a sensible argument. I am, however, more optimistic about Sony's position overall.
Sony's hardware has clearly been compelling enough for it to sell faster than the 360 (worldwide, of course), despite being considerably more expensive, and despite media negativity. This is even before the price cut, and I believe it is a result of Sony's on-going commitment to building its own exclusive content.
On the other hand, Microsoft seems wanting to fight as c...
Indeed, advertisements probably pay more than what integrity gets. Is there also a pay-per-compliant-article deal? Where do I sign up to be a gaming journalist?
Indeed, the one defining feature about the PS3 is the very fact that it does not bank on a single "defining" exclusive.
Like your style, Pope :)
Is thegameraccess Smoke and Mirrors?
It seems only natural that the technology will be re-used - it is an amazing engine afterall. Nevertheless, I am excited to see future games of the graphical calibre of KZ2, and Uncharted 2 as well.
Though it is just a rumour, it would be a nice little tribute to a great legend... RIP
Has there been any new information that justifies yet another rumour about a price drop? Making up new information shouldn't make a rumour any more credible...
Just let it happen when it does happen - it is obvious that the constant mongering hasn't helped one single soul on Earth.
How does "the future is coming much faster than I expected" beg the question "Will Flower Dev Move to Natal"?
Quite a leap of supposition there.
That is sensible. A hammer cannot treat everything as a nail.
I agree, Morgan. Raztad, dropping the price won't be an easy solution for Sony. These websites will just start another vicious cycle of price-drop rumours, only to be perpetuated by people who didn't intend to buy a PS3 in the first place.
Didn't Sony announce some form of apps store before this guy even thought to have a brain fart? PSP Go itself will feature a couple of built-in applications too.
As you pointed out, brightness does not have anything to do with the ability to do shadows. It also has nothing to do with resolution.
The word you are looking for is contrast, not softness or sharpness. Even if you don't equalise the contrast between the two pictures, it is still easy to see that the resolution is identical, that each pixelation matches, pixel for pixel.
Indeed, that can't possibly mean that 360 controls are bad for racing.
The numbers are there. Worldwide, PS3 is selling faster than the 360. How much better do they have to do, despite being encumbered by the cost of their console?
Well... no.
If given a choice, as is the case on the PS3, significantly more people chose Infamous over Prototype. If you want to talk about preference (as to which game is better), it is crystal clear.
I suppose you're saying that $400 is above the ceiling of what many people can afford, where any value that is represented by $400 is thrown out of the window anyway. I must say I don't know how many people are in that situation. Neither do you, but it is an interesting thought. I imagine, though, if one managed to save $300, then saving a bit more to get to $400 might not be an impossible thing to do.
I would agree that value is subjective, even pliable. Indeed, it seems to be t...
So true.
