It won’t make a difference story wise. Entire story is already leaked basically. Full release won’t change that.
This. They shouldn’t try so hard to divert expectations, especially when the expectations for ND are so high. It would have been hard for them to meet the expectations of their fan base even before the leaks, but it just feels like they tried too hard and focused on the wrong aspect.

I don’t think it’ll recover after the leaks. It will sell well for sure, and critics will love how daring it is. It will be a technical masterpiece, but I don’t think most of the fans will enjoy it. I think it’ll end up being a stain on the series name, and we won’t see another Last of Us game in the future.

I understand that trailers take a long time to make, so I suppose that’s fair. However, it isn’t really spoiling the game.. they’re selling this game on a false pretense, and they’ve made absolutely no effort to rectify that. I guess that’s their intention? I don’t know, it’s very disappointing to me to see the direction one of my favorite games has taken.

I’m excited for the game, and I’m sure it will be a great game. However, I can’t ignore the spoilers. If the story is as the spoilers say they are, ND is making a huge mistake. Sounds like the Game of Thrones directors wrote the story from what I read.

Not completely disagreeing, Sony has some great exclusives.. but not as many as Nintendo. They do have the third party support that Nintendo lacks, making it overall probably a better core console, especially for multiplayer games. Definitely has more options than Xbox does right now. When I want a single player adventure, Nintendo has the better games imo.
I’ll give it a shot for sure, but I disagree about it being the biggest exclusive of the year. The Last of Us 2 is probably far more anticipated in most people’s opinion.
I kinda just hope they go back to their roots a bit for this one. I thoroughly enjoyed origins and odyssey but the gigantic maps and rpg elements led to a decline in what I enjoyed about assassin’s creed. They’re still really good open world rpgs but I want the stealth missions and really large cities that have a ton of things to do in them.
