I really wish it were simply a ps5 exclusive. I understand they didn't want to alienate their player base, but I feel like when they develop games for cross generation they never end up being as good as they could have been. This game might be amazing and nearly flawless, but it won't shake the thought that it could have been that much better exclusively to ps5.
That last sentence might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever read on this site, and I have read a lot of dumb things on this site.
I think better wording would be “may be good” not “will be good”. Delaying a game doesn’t automatically make it a good game, but rushing a game almost certainly makes it a bad game.
I mean it kind of depends on what you’re looking for in your game. The world as a whole in breath of the wild just blows OOT out of the water, but OOT has much better puzzles and dungeons.
@gamer2353 except that for the opinions of many, it was disappointing. In the opinions of many it also isn’t disappointing. I kept an open mind up to playing it hoping it would impress me, but I was very disappointed. As someone who adored the first game and thought it had one of the greatest stories ever told, I thought the second was told very poorly.
The story wasn’t bad but everything else was. The gunplay was unenjoyable, awful melee combat, gameplay loop was boring, and the AI is just awful.
Yeah I already completed 3D world on the Wii U. 100%. I wish they would sell this separately at $30 but I know Nintendo won’t do that.
Maybe the animations, but the graphics are not. Overall, a much more enjoyable experience though. MW map design and game flow was the worst in the series.
This list was very poorly written.
I just don't feel like they're going to add anything of significance to the game until they fully fix it. I don't see mini games on their priority list, even though I feel like it would make the game feel more alive.
I understand the vaulting of the planets and content.. Kinda? The thing I don't get is why they would vault the pvp maps along with it. There simply isn't enough content in destiny right now to keep it afloat. I feel like if they are going to vault things, the content they add better add up to the content we lost.
Ratchet and Clank all day!
It’s a big improvement over origins and Odyssey in quest design, world design, and combat. They also tried to make stealth at the very least semi-important and even gave an option for one hit assassinations. If it wasn’t for the numerous bugs I’d give it an 8.5 or so but due to the bugs it’s probably around a 7. Definitely not a 5/10 game.
Mario 64, halo 1, breath of the wild, and now demon souls. I’d put those four at the top.
I didn’t say it’s the best I said it’s one of the best. I think AC2, brotherhood, and black flag are ultimately better. I would put it below those 3 but above the rest. If you don’t like the direction of the newer games, I understand; but the game is really good and packed with content to me.
I mean if they fix the bugs, it'll be one of the best AC games ever made. Definitely their best AC since Black Flag. Right now, however, the bugs are awful. Experienced a game breaking bug 5 hours in. Not what should happen in a triple A title.
It says her face is disfigured from an accident, how the hell is that offensive? Someone gonna sue a hospital when they use terms like that after an accident?
Just like every other generation, it’s up to preference. I think at launch, PS5 has a stronger lineup and will feel the largest difference from last gen, but who knows what will happen later in the life cycle.
MS really missed out on keeping Bungie around with Halo. That was the one franchise tying me to Xbox, but the 343 games made me fall out of love with it. Bungie could have made a masterpiece with this hardware.
I don’t think this game was GOTY material. Yes, it was a technological masterpiece. The gameplay was.. the same but slightly better than the first game. The story was a nightmare. “Revenge is bad” is far too bland and they didn’t even do it well. There were far better games this year.
