I don’t think they were really ranking their 3 favorites were they?? It was just 3 good 3 bad not like in order.
Edit: ohh yeah they reviewed it a 95, 5 better than GoT on their review. It was good, but definitely not 95 worth in my opinion. Still, opinions are opinions.
That’s such an arrogant statement. Why can’t you just be happy for Playstation without crapping all over Xbox?
1. God of War
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
3. FF7 Remake
4. Spider-Man
5. Bloodborne
Lots of great games this console generation. The biggest let down for me is the lack of Ratchet and Clank games :( So glad to see it’s coming back in a big way on the PS5.
While I do agree that a 5/10 seems low for this game (haven’t played yet but seems about an 8 from most people), the Paper Mario comparison is weak. Some people legitimately prefer more light hearted adventures and would prefer it over anything coming out for either console. Reviews are opinions, and he probably just has a very unpopular opinion.
It just doesn’t make sense why they’d use such an early build for such a pivotal moment. The big reveal is supposed to be a huge defining moment. Unfortunately that’s the moment that will define Halo Infinite before launch, could even sway a decent amount of sales.
Hey thanks for the input! Sounds pretty solid all the way around!
I’ve seen some gameplay it looks fun. I’m unsure if I should pick this up or not or save towards the PS5. As far as how the game plays can anyone give me a comparison as closely as possible to another game?
Clearly the console wars aren’t over. There’s always going to be someone in the lead, but that doesn’t mean they’ve already won. Xbox has been trailing for awhile and although their game pass system is amazing, they don’t have the first party support that Nintendo and Sony have. It could change but I doubt it.
I mean it’s not even just the graphics. It didn’t feel like it brought a lot to the table fundamentally to me, and that’s coming from a huge halo fan. Maybe future showings of the game will impress, and I’m not even saying the game is or will be bad. All I’m saying is what they showed for a first gameplay look was lackluster at best.
You may be getting ahead of yourself a bit buddy. We haven’t seen anything about avowed other than a tiny trailer. Also Sony’s conference I would put above this one honestly. Not saying this conference was bad, but Sony’s was better in my opinion.
Aww I really expected more tbh. It looks decent enough I guess but like not on the level of a flagship console seller..
I’m not gonna judge the review until I play it for myself cuz hell it could be awful. On the other hand, I don’t think it’ll be awful and I’m still gonna play it for myself. Game looks incredible to me and I love the setting! Sekiro was my GOTY last year, it’d be cool to have Ghost of Tsushima GOTY for me this year.
@rememberthe357 I have had my conversations on other websites about the pedophilia and how toxic the community is. The most disappointing to me was zero, as I was a fan of his videos. Back to this guys comment, a quick scroll through his history shows nothing but Sony “fanatic” behavior in his words. There are several posts of him attacking Nintendo and Microsoft. He’s clearly doing the same here.
Had to take a break defending TLOU2 to crap on Nintendo for a minute? Lots of adults on here abnormally obsessed over Naughty Dog games, isn’t that a bit weird?
I feel like it’s a 6/10 after playing through it. Not insane, just didn’t personally enjoy the story at all. There are other issues but they aren’t too bad compared to the story.
I mean there are plenty of reasons why Witcher 3 isn’t a 10/10 game. Great game, but a 10 implies that it’s flawless. God of War is about the closest game I can think of as a “perfect experience”, but there are still some gripes. There aren’t enough large scale boss fights, and too many reskins. Saying TLOU2 is a 10/10 implies you believe it has absolutely no flaws, and that’s just kinda hard to believe.
Yeah I mean Skyrim was an amazing game and still holds a special place in my heart but god damn I want an oblivion remake or remaster
No but people who give it a flawless score probably are. I played it, it’s hardly a flawless game.
Gameplay first doesn’t mean gameplay only. A game needs good gameplay to even be considered a good game, then we can move on from there to other important factors.
I see no way that could be a disaster.
