Same, almost forgot about BL3 with all the games coming up
I think it'll strike a nice balance. There are some rather grim-looking areas to be seen in the trailer as well, much darker than the first Rage. Im hoping to see more at E3.. but not counting on it
Avalance (Mad Max) and iD Soft might be a match made in heaven by the looks of it. A game like this is right up my alley, post-apocalyptic raiders on steroids :D Keeping a close eye on this.
Really hope to see some gameplay at E3, very excited
Yeah, agree with your hard disagree.
By the same logic in this article, every game that tries to bank on any popular genre is ''a huge problem'', because it either copies elements of the existing games and/or dilutes the genre itself.. which is something that has been happening for decades, and has brought out plenty of interesting games and upcoming studios despite of it.
Creating a completely new game is a massive risk, especially for smaller stu...
Glad to see it do well, hope it gets tons of support coming years.
Im happy they brought back the map editor, but there is little else in terms of progression, loadout customization, different game modes and whatnot. If they combined it with what they had in FC3 regarding mp it would've been perfect I think.
Well deserved, it's a solid game. Normally I don't buy games on release, but FC5 was among the few exceptions.
The enemies seem crazy accurate at long distances sometimes, even when driving full speed in a car.. Speaking of cars, it's also near impossible to drive for half a minute without getting chased down by everyone and their mom, making it very tedious to travel by road. Hope they patch that.
Im not fond of canine companions either.. never really had much with dogs personally. But yeah you can play by yourself, or choose from a bunch of other companions.
FC3 wasn't so much about mocking as it was showing the big contrast and drastic change from one lifestyle to another. The only individual that is clearly a play (though a very silly, non-serious one) is a character named Hurk.
Was just planning on playing this again
I read the books after playing TW3. If you're interested in the setting and world, the game definitely adds to the overall experience. Even more so when you can connect so many events and places found in the original books.
The game is hardly 3 years old, and got several graphical updates..
Does it bother you that much when people show their appreciation for something?
Looks pretty sweet, keeping an eye on this one
Here's my theory, the reason games keep being blamed is because so many people (mostly younger men) prefer playing games over working themselves to death to keep up the economy. I don't think it has anything to do with games and violence, no studies over the years have shown any direct correlation and the government knows that.
With welfare expenses sky-rocketing and pension funds running dry, they need people to work harder. Video games are one of the main past-times...
Wasn't there already an international womens day one month ago..?
Probably my favourite, maybe tied with The Last of Us. The game really grows on you over time, from the rich atmosphere to the impressive soundtrack, to the Lovecraft-inspired lore behind the game, it just checked all boxes for me.
Oh, and for anyone interested in the story and lore of the game, i'd strongly suggest looking up ''The Paleblood Hunt'' and reading it.
You could try looking up a walkthrough/playthrough if you're stuck, some areas can be tricky to find at first. Some are completely optional too, but worth checking out.
Rage is ID's property though, so I think they'll be at the helm direction wise. I think they are cooperating with Avalance because of Mad Max, which in my opinion was really well done. I've got faith in them.
